Vytauto gatvė 43

LT2014 m. atlikti žvalgomieji ir detalieji archeologiniai tyrimai Palangos mieste, Vytauto g. 43. Čia vykdyti kultūrinės paskirties pastato (Palangos "Vasaros estrada") rekonstravimo į kultūros ir mokslo paskirties pastatą projekto darbai. Pradžioje žvalgomieji tyrimai pradėti aplink buvusią "Vasaros estradą" šurfu, tirtu į ŠR nuo stovėjusio pastato. Po vėlyvais kultūrinio sluoksnio horizontais ir smėlio supustymu 1,6 m gylyje aptiktas 10–20 cm storio juodos žemės sluoksnis su gausiomis medienos skiedromis. Sluoksnyje aptikti keramikos radiniai datuoti XVI–XVII a. [...] [p. 354].

ENIn 2014, a field survey and an excavation (a total of 238 m2 excavated) were conducted at Vytauto st. 43 in Palanga. Under the Modern Age cultural layer horizons and the windblown sand, a 10–20 cm thick layer of black soil with abundant wood chips was found at a depth of 1.6 m. The remains of a log building were also discovered. The finds should be dated to the 16th-17th centuries. A multitude of household pottery, "bowl-shaped" (Schüsselkacheln) and panel (Blattkacheln) stove tiles, a wooden plate and spoon, part of a wooden Mill or Nine Men’s Morris (lith. Malūnas) game (the first in Lithuania), and a signet seal matrix (which could have belonged P. Šiukšta (polish Piotr Szukszta) a judge of the Samogitian nobility) were found.
