Didžioji gatvė 12

LT2013–2014 m. Kėdainių senamiestyje tyrinėtas rūsys po namu Didžioji g. 12. Rūsys lokalizuotas 2013 m., namo PR patalpoje įlūžus betoninei grindų perdangai. Rūsį namo savininkai ketina restauruoti, o namą-rekonstruoti. Iš viso rūsyje buvo iškasta apie 30 m3 statybinio laužo, supilto į jo patalpą per 1984 m. dabartinio namo Didžioji g. 12 statybą. Ištirtas bendras 16,6 m2 plotas, atidengtas ir restauravimui parengtas XVII a. I pusėje išmūrytas ir iki 1924 m. naudotas rūsys. Prie išorinių rūsio V ir Š sienų buvo iškasti du 1,4x1 ir 1,9x1,8 m šurfai. Jie kasti norint patikrinti, ar greta atkastos rūsio patalpose nėra kitų jo patalpų. Iš viso name Didžioji g. 12 ištirtas 21,42 m2 plotas, atidengtas 40–60 cm XV–XX a. I pusės kultūrinis sluoksnis. [...] [p. 315-316].

ENThe basement under the house at Didžioji st. 12 was excavated in Kėdainiai old town. A total of 21.42 m² were excavated and a 40-60 cm thick cultural layer from the 15th-first half of the 20th century was unearthed, the diffent artefacts were found. The single-room rectangular 5.25x3.17x2.42–2.57 m basement, which had a wooden ceiling, acquired masonry walls under the SE part of the two-story masonry house in the first half of the 17th century. The home’s owner until the mid 17th century was a Scot, Alexander Gordon. The house burnt down during a 1914 fire and a single story shop was erected at its site. The basement was used until the 1924 flood, after which it was filled with various rubbish. During the construction in 1984 of the current house at Didžioji st. 12, the basement was filled to the top with construction waste and buried.
