Paliūniškio dvaro tyrimai

LTPaliūniškio dvaro sodybos (UK 401) teritorijoje (Panevėžio r., Karsakiškio sen., Vabalninko g. 1) 2014 m. balandžio-gegužės mėnesiais neužstatytoje sklypo teritorijos ŠV dalyje buvo atlikti archeologiniai žvalgomieji ir detalieji tyrimai. Ankščiau archeologiniai tyrimai dvaro teritorijoje nebuvo vykdyti. Jų metu projektuojamoje naujai užstatomoje teritorijoje, kurios bendras plotas 334 m2 , buvo ištirti keturi 1,5x1,5 m ir vienas 2,5x2,5 m dydžio šurfai-iš viso 15,25 m2 dydžio plotas. Šurfuose 1, 3–5 archeologiškai vertingo kultūrinios sluoksnio neaptikta, atkastas tik neintensyvus XIX a. kultūrinio sluoksnio horizontas. Šurfe 2 fiksuoti akmeniniai buvusio pastato pamatai, orientuoti V–R kryptimis. Atkasant dvaro pastato pamatus rasta per 50 vienetų neglazūruotos ir glazūruotos buitinės keramikos šukių nuo puodynių, ąsočių, dubenėlių, tarp jų keliolika fajansinių bei porcelianinių indų šukių. Surinkta per 30 vienetų neglazūruotų smulkių krosnių koklių šukių, kurios datuotos XIX a. pabaiga-XX a. [...] [p. 235, 237].

ENIn 2014, a field survey and excavation were conducted on the grounds of Paliūniškis manor complex (Panevėžys district). Five test pits (a total of 15.25 m2 ) and a 96 m2 trench were excavated in the undeveloped NW part of the plot. A former building’s 85 cm wide, 35 cm high stone foundation with a W–E orientation, was recorded in test pit 2. In trench 1 this foundation was further unearthed. Judging from the unearthed cultural layers and finds, the building could have been in use from the late 18th century to the 1950s–1960s. The building was a wooden manor house, a roughly 34 m long residence with a W–E orientation. At a depth of 35–55 cm along the trench’s N wall, a cinder pit site with a mixture of ore and charcoal was unearthed. A total of 195 catalogued and 91 uncatalogued finds were collected during the investigation.
