Kabinės neįtvirtinta gyvenvietė

LT2012 m. Kabinės kaime (Alytaus r.), būsimos elektros oro linijos atramos 6 vietoje S. Širvydaitė žvalgomųjų tyrimų metu ištyrė 10 m2 dydžio plotą ir aptiko I tūkst. I pusės keramikos degimo krosnies duobę su 540 lipdytos brūkšniuotos ir grublėtos keramikos šukių (ATL 2012 metais, V., 2013, p. 122). Kabinės neįtvirtintos gyvenvietės archeologiniai tyrimai parodė, kad jos kultūrinis sluoksnis nuartas, po 20–40 cm storio arimo sluoksniu pasiektame įžemyje likę tik įgilintos struktūros-stulpavietė, ūkinės duobės su keramika, židinys. ENIn 2014, a 147.6 m2 trench was excavated at the site of an electricity transmission tower in Kabinės village (Alytus district, South Lithuania). Three pits and the contours of one 23x13 cm diameter posthole were unearthed in the sterile soil under the clay in the plough zone. Cattle and sheep/goat bones were discovered in pit 1. Sherds of hand built pottery, mostly with rough surfaces, were found in pits 2 and 3. Pit 1 and the posthole were impossible to date because of a lack of datable finds. Pits 2 and 3 date to the 1st millennium.
