Dūkštelių akmens amžiaus gyvenvietė 1

LTDūkštelių 1-oji akmens amžiaus gyvenvietė buvo aptikta 2011 m., kai vietinių gyventojų kasamo smėlio duobėse buvo atsitiktinai rasta titnago nuoskala. 2012 m. Skauduliškių ir Dūkštelio ežerų mikroregione vykdant žvalgomuosius tyrimus abipus žvyrkelio Dūkšteliai-Pavydokiai buvo iškasta keletas šurfų, kuriuose taip pat buvo aptikta akmens amžiaus radinių. 2013 m. gyvenvietės teritorijoje buvo vykdomi archeologiniai detalieji tyrimai, kurių metu ištirta 45 m² dydžio perkasa, kurioje rasta ankstyvojo mezolito ir neolito-bronzos amžiaus laikų titnaginio inventoriaus bei su akmens amžiaus horizontu sietinų gyvenvietės struktūrų liekanų. 2014 m archeologiniai tyrimai buvo tęsiami siekiant gauti daugiau mokslinės informacijos ir patikrinti, kiek jos teritorija tęsiasi į ŠR ir į PV nuo 2013 m. kasinėtos vietos. 2014 m. vizualiai žvalgyta ir aplinkinė teritorija. Nustatyta, kad 340 m į P nuo Dūkštelių akmens amžiaus gyvenvietės 1, ariamame priemolio lauke įsiterpusiame priesmėlingame plotelyje, pakilumoje greta miškelio galbūt yra Dūkštelių akmens amžiaus gyvenvietė 2. Dukart apsilankius vietovėje paviršiuje buvo rasti 5 titnaginiai radiniai. [...] [p. 28-29, 32].

ENIn 2014, 20 m2 were excavated within the territory of Dūkšteliai 1 old settlement and nearly a hundred flint and other knapped stone finds, over ten potsherds, a fragment of burnt bone, several cartridges, metal finds, and Imperial Russian uniform buttons were discovered. The settlement site was inhabited more than once: in the early mesolithic and later, perhaps in the neolithic or bronze age. Several stains, the purpose of which is still not clear, were identified during the excavation, but based on the stratigraphy they should be ascribed to the stone age horizon. The potsherds discovered in the excavated areas come from various periods. Several sherds were hand built, supposing an early date, meanwhile some of the other pottery was partly thrown. One sherd of hand thrown pottery was also found. Some artefacts fro 20th century also were found. The NE and perhaps the N part of the old settlement have been severely damaged due to farm related construction and economic activities. The ploughed fields to the S of Dūkšteliai 1 old settlement were once again fieldwalked and Dūkšteliai stone age settlement 2 may have been discovered.
