Vasario 16-osios gatvė 1

LT2015 m. lapkričio mėnesį APC atliko žvalgomuosius tyrimus buvusios Šv. Jokūbo ligoninės komplekso vidiniame kieme (UK 30748), sklypo Vasario 16-osios g. 1 dalyje. Tyrimų tikslas-nustatyti kieme esančio kultūrinio sluoksnio būklę, storį ir pobūdį. Kiemo žaliojoje zonoje iškasti 5 2x2 m dydžio šurfai (20 m2). Kiemo PR ir ŠR dalyse kastuose šurfuose 1 ir 2 rasti tik XX a. suformuoti sluoksniai [p. 389].

ENIn 2015, APC conducted a field evaluation in the inner courtyard of the former Hospital of St Jacob complex at Vasario 16-osios st. 1. Five test pits (a total of 20 m²) were excavated. No finds or archaeologically valuable cultural layer horizons were discovered in test pits 1-2 in the E part of the courtyard. A 1–1.5 m thick cultural layer was recorded in test pits 3–5 in the central and W parts of the courtyard. 16th-18th century finds: a 1797 coin and fragments of household pottery, panel stove tiles, metal artefacts, and glass artefacts were discovered in its lower horizons. Fragments of a 17th century temporary structure were recorded in test pit 5.
