(ATL 2014 metais, V., 2015, p. 465–479). Tada detaliųjų tyrimų metu ištirtas 718 m 2 plotas, aptiktas XVII a. pabaigos medinis Vingrės (Kačergos) upelio kanalas. Ankstyviausi sklype tirti kultūrinio sluoksnio horizontai datuoti XVII a. 2015 m. archeologiniai žvalgymai atlikti sklypo L. Stuokos-Gucevičiaus g. 7 aplinkoje. [...].
ENIn conducting evaluations and surveys in Vilnius old town, new facts were learned about the incidence of the archaeological layer as well as the artefacts and structures it contains. The investigation on the plot at Aguonų st. 11 determined that the cultural layer at that location had largely been jumbled up and dates to the 17th-20th centuries. The cultural layer in the N part of the plot was 1.3 m thick and over 2 m deep in the S part. At a depth of 1 m in the N part of the plot, part of a stove with 17th century stove tiles was discovered. At a depth of 50 cm in the central part of the plot, disturbed human remains were found. In the neighbouring plot at Aguonų St. 10, a 15th-17th century cemetery was investigated in 2006–2007. At a depth of 1 m in the S part of the plot, the original surface of the relief was reached and under it an undisturbed 17th century cultural layer horizon. Three test pits (a total of 17.4 m2) were excavated during the evaluation at Pylimo st. 36/Ligoninės st. 2. The lower part of the Vilnius city defensive wall, which was erected in the early 16th century and demolished in the early 19th century, was discovered in test pit 1. Layers disturbed in the 20th century were excavated in the other test pits. Near the S corner of the house at L. Stuokos-Gucevičiaus st. 7, a 2.2x3.6 m utility pit was dug between the SE façade and the street’s carriageway. At a depth of 1.8 m, a 1.4 x 2.2x1.6 m fragment of a rubble filled masonry wall was unearthed and preliminarily dated to the 16th century. It would be possible to conduct a larger scale excavation in order to determine the wall’s purpose (the remains of a structure connected with the city’s defensive wall or a weir on the Vingrė stream?).
