Numatoma remontuoti, restauruoti sklype esančius pastatus, pastatyti naujus kiemo korpusus. Pastate, kur buvo numatyti gana didelės apimties žemės kasimo darbai, atlikti archeologiniai tyrimai. Dviejose esamose rūsio patalpose, kuriose planuota pažeminti grindų lygį, žemės kasimo darbų metu atlikti žvalgymai. Pusiau užverstoje rūsio ŠV patalpoje tokie tyrimai atlikti 27 m2 plote. Čia aptiktas XIX a. statant kolonas–atramas laiptams apardytas akmenų grindinys, durų į gretimą rūsio patalpą medinis slenkstis, kitokių, tikriausiai su kolonų statyba susijusių medinių konstrukcijų, o patalpos PR kampe-XVII a. dalinai užmūryta gotikinė sraigtinė laiptinė. ENIn preparing the building at Didžioji st. 7, which is beside Rotušės square, Vilnius, for reconstruction, the archaeological investigation begun in 2014 was continued in 2015 in the palace of the former GDL Pacas magnate family and in its courtyard. During the investigation, it was determined that the cultural layer investigated inside the building had been severely disturbed during construction and reconstruction work. The remains of the masonry stairwell of the Gothic house that had previously stood at the site were discovered in the palace and the foundation of the present day palace was unearthed. A fragment of late 17th century paving was also found in one of the palace’s rooms and below it, the remains of at least several wooden water line routes. The site of a late 17th century water line route was also identified during the investigation in the building’s courtyard. During this last investigation, three stone paving levels and a dilapidated masonry basement were discovered. In investigating the cultural layer in the building’s courtyard, a fairly large quantity of 14th(?)/15th-18th century finds, some of which have no analogy in the archaeological material from Vilnius, was found. The investigation at this object will be continued.
