LT2015 m. Vilniuje, Vilniaus ir Liejyklos gatvių kampe esančiame skvere vykdyti detalieji tyrimai ir žvalgymai. Jų metu ištirta 14,3 m2 dydžio perkasa, žvalgytas bendras apie 39 m2 dydžio plotas. Fiksuotas XVII-XX a. kultūrinis sluoksnis. Jau XVIII a. tyrimų vieta priklausė uždaram miesto sklypui su perimetriniu mūriniu užstatymu, Radvilų rūmų kompleksui. Iš P sklypą ribojo buvusi Vilniaus miesto gynybinė siena. Iki XIX a. pradžios vientisas Radvilų sklypas buvo suskaldytas į atskiras posesijas su vyraujančiu mediniu užstatymu. Nuo XIX a. vidurio iki XX a. I pusės vieta užstatyta mūriniais pastatais. XX a. viduryje šioje teritorijoje stovėję mūriniai pastatai nugriauti ir suformuotas dabartinis skveras. Skvero P dalyje 2014 m. dujotiekio rekonstrukcijos metu žvalgyta 56,5 m ilgio, 50 cm pločio ir 90 cm gylio tranšėja. 30–40 cm gylyje aptikta XIX–XX a. pradžios pastatų fragmentų. Tais pačiais metais skvero V dalyje, prie Vilniaus gatvės, planuojamų prie kiosko pastato prijungti tinklų vietoje tirtas 1 šurfas (ATL 2014 metais, V., 2015, p. 453–454). Iki 40–70 cm gylio fiksuotas XX a. permaišytas sluoksnis. Nuo 20 cm gylio atidengtos XVIII a. arkinės konstrukcijos pamato liekanos. Žemiau pamato arkos skliauto glūdi XVIII a. kultūrinis sluoksnis. 1,8 m gylyje aptikta ankstyvesnių nei pastatas akmenų grindinio liekanų. [...] [p. 311-312].

ENIn 2015, a survey (a total of roughly 39 m2 ) and excavation (one 14.3 m2 trench) were conducted in the square at the corner of Vilniaus and Liejyklos streets in Vilnius. A 17th-20th century cultural layer was recorded. A 20th century fill layer was recorded in a monitored service trench that was up to 30–60 cm deep in the S and central parts of the square. The remains of 19th-20th century buildings demolished in the mid 20th century were unearthed. 18th-19th century stone paving and the remains of structures from a similar period were recorded in the central and W parts of the square. During the excavation in the W part of the square, a 17th-20th century layer was excavated down to the planned depth of 1.7-1.8 m near Vilniaus Street. The remains of 18th-19th century structures were discovered from a depth of 20 cm. In the 17th-18th century horizon, the remains of an earlier masonry structure were unearthed at a depth of roughly 1 m. A fragment of possibly 17th century stone paving was recorded at a depth of 1.7 m. In the carriageway of Vilniaus street, mostly 20th century fill soil was recorded during the excavation and survey. In places, a layer of alluvial sand and grey soil without finds lay under it at a depth of 1.2–1.4 m. Below that, natural soil was reached at a depth of 2.2 m.
