Mantagailiškio dvaras

LT2015 m. Mantagailiškio buvusios dvaro sodybos teritorijoje (UK 80) (Biržų r.) buvo tęsiami dar 2012 m. pradėti archeologiniai tyrimai (ATL 2012 metais, V., 2013, p. 667; ATL 2013 metais, V., 2014, p. 217–220; ATL 2014 metais, V., 2015, p. 239–242). Tyrimų vieta-dvaro teritorijos ŠV dalis, kurioje 2013–2014 m. lokalizuota senojo XVI a. II pusės-XIX a. pr. Montigailų ir Kušelevskių dvaro gyvenamojo namo vieta. Iki 2013 m. apie šią vietą buvo žinoma, kad iki 1985–1986 m. čia stovėjo medinis namas, statytas Holstenų apie 1890 m. 2015 m. siekta ištirti 2014 m. rastas naujas archeologines struktūras, įvertinti ir patikslinti XVII–XVIII a. stovėjusių rūmų pamatų, rūsių bei kitų struktūrų vertingąsias savybes, numatyti jų pritaikymą, eksponavimą bei saugojimą numatomame rengti 1890 m. statyto gyvenamojo namo atstatymo bei teritorijos sutvarkymo projekte. Iš viso 2015 m. ištirtas apie 320 m2 plotas. Tyrimai buvo vykdomi naujai atidengtuose plotuose, apie 280 m2 teritorijoje bei 2014 m. nebaigtose tirti plotų 3, 4, 5, 6 vietose. [...] [p. 217, 219].

ENIn 2015, the excavations (a total of 320 m2 ) continued on the NW side of Mantagailiškis manor, which was the site of the late 16th-19th century old manor that belonged to the Montigaila and Kušelevskis families. The Holsten family started a reconstruction of the manor in the second half of the 19th century. During the reconstruction, a new mansion and farm buildings were built on the E side. During the excavation, two late 17th early 19th century basements belonging to the old dwelling, one 27 m2 and the other 14.5 m2 , were found. For 150 years, the demolished building site with the two filled basements had been in the vicinity of the road laid during the manor’s reconstruction. Fragments of mid 16th-18th century cultural layers and finds were discovered. The manor’s current owners would like to display part of the building’s 17th-19th century foundations after the grounds have been put in order.
