Arklių gatvė 10

LT2016 m. rugpjūčio–rugsėjo mėnesiais Vilniuje, sklype Arklių g. 10 vykdyti žvalgomieji tyrimai ir žvalgymai, ištirtas 8 m2 dydžio plotas (2 šurfai). Baigus tyrimus žvalgytas 24 m² plotas. Arklių g. 10 namas pastatytas XVI a. pabaigoje-XVII a. pradžioje. 1645 m. dokumentuose minimi du mūriniai pastatai, stovėję skirtingose posesijose galais į Arklių gatvę. Per 1706 ir 1749 m. gaisrus namai smarkiai nukentėjo. Tarp 1733 ir 1749 m. abi posesijos buvo sujungtos, suformuota posesija 255. Manoma, kad XVII-XVIII a. abu namai buvo vienaukščiai ir stovėjo galu į Arklių gatvę (VAA, f. 1019, a. 11, b. 4735). 1787–1792 m. sklype buvę pastatai remontuoti, rekonstruoti, pastatyta arklidė ir vežiminė. 1837 m. dokumente jau minima, kad namas yra dviaukštis. Pagal 1901 m. projektą pastatyta P korpuso vidurinioji dalis, namas įgavo dabartinę planinę struktūrą. 2016 m. tirti du 2x1 m dydžio šurfai, vienas iš jų tyrimų metu buvo praplėstas iki 3x2 m dydžio. Bendras ištirtas plotas-8 m2 . Baigus tyrimus iki projektinio gylio atlikti žvalgymai tranšėjoje elektros tinklams (35 m ilgio) ir dujotiekiui (45,1 m ilgio). ENIn 2016, two test pits (8 m2 ) were excavated during an evaluation on the plot at Arklių st. 10 in Vilnius. The foundation of an exterior stairwell from the late 19th early 20th century was found during the investigation. Deeper, an archaeologically valuable cultural layer dating to the second half of the 16th-18th centuries was recorded at a depth of 1.0–2.25 m. A large quantity of 16th-17th century finds were collected: sherds of household pottery (some of which had been imported from present-day Poland (Kielce) and Germany (Westerwald)), small fragments of polychrome panel stove tiles (Blattkacheln), a fragment of a flat roof tile, etc. The lower part of the layer, which was recorded at a depth of 1.7–2.25 m, could hypothetically date to the 15th–16th centuries.
