Aukštaičių gatvė 3

LT2016 m. liepos–rugsėjo mėnesiais APC atliko detaliuosius tyrimus Vilniuje, Aukštaičių g. 3. Sklypo P dalyje prie Paupio gatvės stovėjo vienaukštis pastatas. Jis iš dalies nugriautas-palikta P, fasadinė mūrinė pastato siena ties Paupio gatve. Pastato Š siena ir vidinės sienos nuardytos iki pamatinės dalies. Centrinėje ir Š sklypo dalyje buvęs kiemas ir sodas. 599 m² ploto sklype tirtas 405 m² plotas. Sklypas yra istoriniame Vilniaus Paplavų (Paplaujos) vietoje. Š šio priemiesčio dalis ribojama Vilnios upės, P-Paupio (buvusi Druga Poplawska) gatvės. Paplavų priemiestis-vienas pirmųjų Vilniaus pramoninių rajonų. Prie Vilnios buvo pastatyta įvairios paskirties malūnų, gamintas popierius, parakas. Čia gyveno darbininkai, meistrai ir pameistriai. [...]. [Iš teksto, p. 412]

ENIn 2016, the APC conducted an excavation (405 m²) at Aukštaičių st. 3 in Vilnius. The remains of wooden structures were discovered in the N part of area 1. These were probably the remains of a water channel laid parallel with the River Vilnia. In the 19th-20th century, the unused channel was filled with earth. A large quantity of sherds of household pottery dating to the 17th-19th centuries was discovered in the channel’s fill A 1.7–2.4 m thick cultural layer was recorded. The majority of the finds were discovered in the upper horizons of the cultural layer. Some of them probably found their way there together with soil brought in to fill the unused water channel and to level the relief. A pit with no clear purpose was also found.
