Pagyvenusio amžiaus asmenų aktyvumo darbo rinkoje įvertinimas
LTŠiame straipsnyje analizuojama pagyvenusio amžiaus gyventojų padėtis darbo rinkoje. Be įprastinių Statistikos departamento duomenų, straipsnio autoriai pasinaudojo 2003-2004 m. Darbo ir socialinių tyrimų instituto atliktų tyrimų duomenimis. Remiantis pagyvenusių asmenų nuostatomis šis tyrimas atskleidžia aktualias jų padėties darbo rinkoje problemas, pateikiami pasiūlymai jų padėčiai gerinti. Straipsnyje aptariamos problemos glaudžiai susijusios su socialinės politikos aktualijomis. Straipsnyje atliekama užimtumo tendencijų palyginamoji analizė. Atlikus vertinimus išryškėjo, kad lyginant su kitomis amžiaus grupėmis, pagyvenusių žmonių užimtumo tendencijos buvo gerokai palankesnės. Nepaisant to, kartų kaitos požiūriu, dėl santykinai sunkesnės pagyvenusių žmonių adaptacijos rinkos ūkyje, jiems prisitaikyti prie konkurencijos darbo rinkoje sąlygų gerokai sunkiau. Pagal 2004 m. Darbo ir socialinių instituto tyrimo duomenis, tik pusė pagyvenusio amžiaus bedarbių registravosi darbo biržoje norėdami susirasti darbą (remiantis tyrimo rezultatais buvo išskirti 3 apklaustųjų darbinės motyvacijos lygiai). Remiantis atlikto tyrimo rezultatais galima konstatuoti, jog darbo biržoje užsiregistravusių pagyvenusio amžiaus bedarbių profesinio tobulėjimo motyvacija yra ypač silpna. ENIn this article, the author analyzes the position of elderly inhabitants in the labour market. Apart from the regular data from the Statistics department, the authors of the article used data from research carried out by the Labour and social research institute in 2003-2004. Drawing on attitudes of elderly people, this research reveals salient problems related to their position in the labour market; provides suggestions on how to improve their condition. The problems discussed in the article are closely related to realities of social policy. The article carries out comparative analysis of employment trends. After evaluation it became clear that in comparison to other age groups, employment trends among elderly people were far more favourable. Despite this fact, due to generation change, due to relatively more difficult adaptation of elderly people in a market economy, they find it far more difficult to adjust to competition in the labour market. According to data from 2004 research of the Labour and social research institute, only half of the elderly unemployed people register at the Labour Exchange office in an attempt to find a job. On the basis of performed research results, one can state that motivation for raising professional qualification among elderly people registered at the Labour exchange is especially weak.
