Pylimo gatvė 17

LT2016 m. rugpjūčio–rugsėjo mėnesiais UAB „Teisinga orbita“ atliko detaliuosius tyrimus sklype Pylimo g. 17, Vilniuje. Sklypo teritorijoje stovėjo tarybiniu laikotarpiu statytas "Lietuvos" kino teatras. Šį pastatą buvo numatyta griauti, o sklype statyti naują pastatą. Iki pradedant griovimo darbus, prie esamo pastato atlikti žvalgomieji tyrimai, ištirta 10 šurfų. Sklypo R dalyje, suprojektuoto naujo pastato statybos darbų zonoje, ištirtos dvi perkasos. 2016 m. tyrimai atlikti 129 m2 plote. XX a. 7 dešimtmetyje statant "Lietuvos" kino teatro pastatą, archeologiniai tyrimai nebuvo atliekami. Pirmą kartą archeologiniai tyrimai sklype Pylimo g. 17 atlikti 2006 m. (ATL 2006 metais, 2007, p. 363–364) (V. Daminaitis). Tuo metu sklypo R dalyje ištirti 5 šurfai (23 m2 plotas), nustatyta, kad kultūrinis sluoksnis daugelyje tirtų vietų yra XIX–XX a. pradžios, supiltinio pobūdžio, nes įvairiame gylyje rasta XVI–XIX a. radinių. Kultūrinio sluoksnio storis tirtose vietose siekė 2,2–3,8 m. 2014 m. žvalgomųjų tyrimų metu (J. Stankevičiūtė) ištirti 3 šurfai (12,5 m2 plotas), aptikta XVII a. pabaigos-XVIII a. I pusės pastatų liekanų (ATL 2014 metais, 2015, p. 450–452). [...] [p. 354].

ENIn 2016, a field evaluation was conducted on the plot at Pylimo st. 17, which is outside a segment of the city’s early 16th century defensive wall but still in Vilnius old town. During it, a total of 129 m2 were excavated. The "Lietuva" cinema building was erected on this plot in the 1960s. The investigation determined that the cultural layer in the investigated parts of the plot is 1.4–4 m thick. It is the thickest near Pylimo street where the bank of the Vingriai stream and perhaps also the ditch of the Vilnius city defensive wall once existed. This part of Vilnius was inhabited in the prehistoric period and the middle ages. Industrial activities occurred there in the late 16th first half of the 17th century as is attested to by the discovered remains of industrial furnaces. At that time masonry structures, which were later demolished at a single moment in history, perhaps during the 1655–1661 war, stood on the plot. The top of the remains of these buildings lie at a depth of 1.6–1.8 m. Fairly large quantities of finds dating to the second half of the 17th–18th centuries were discovered concentrated in storage pits.
