Bakšio gatvė 10

LT2016 m. atlikti žvalgomieji tyrimai ir žvalgymai sklype Bakšio g. 10, Merkinėje (Varėnos r.). Rekonstravus sklype buvusį tarybiniu laikotarpiu statytą vaikų darželio pastatą, jame įrengtas įvairių socialinių paslaugų centras. 2016 m. šiame objekte vykdyti baigiamieji statybos darbai-pastatyti lengvų konstrukcijų garažo su malkine bei dviejų pavėsinių pastatai, sklypo teritorija apjuosta nauja segmentine tvora su vartais. Naujų pastatų vietose atlikti žvalgomieji tyrimai-ištirti 3 šurfai (bendras 8 m2 plotas). [...] [p. 316-317].

ENIn 2016, a field evaluation was conducted on the plot at Bakšio st. 10 in the central part of Merkinė, a once important city of Dzūkija (South Lithuania). Investigations had been conducted there previously and the archaeological situation of the plot used to be fairly clear, but in 2016, new facts about the past of this part of the city became known. Stone Age finds: flint knapping production waste were discovered in test pit 1 in the N part of the plot.
