Aukštoji gatvė 19

LT2016 m. atlikti žvalgomieji archeologiniai tyrimai ir žvalgymai Klaipėdos senamiesčio teritorijoje, palei pastatą Aukštoji g. 19, kur vyko remonto darbai. Žvalgomųjų tyrimų metu buvo ištirti 2 šurfai (2x1 m dydžio) planuotos nuogrindos vietoje. Šurfas 2 buvo praplatintas iki 2,4x1,2 m. Tokiu būdu šurfais ištirtas 4,88 m2 plotas ir žvalgyta nuogrindos tranšėja, kuri buvo 18 m ilgio, 50–70 cm pločio ir 40–60 cm gylio, bei žvalgytos 9 iškasos laiptų poliniams pamatams (laiptams 1 žvalgytos 6 iškasos, laiptams 2 – 3). Iš viso žvalgytas maždaug 15,5 m2 plotas. Žvalgymų nuogrindose ir laiptų polinių pamatų iškasose fiksuoti tik perkasti ir supiltinės kilmės grunto sluoksniai su XIX–XX a. archeologiniais radiniais, kurių aptikti 57 vienetai. ENIn 2016 spring-summer archaeological research at Aukštoji st. 19 was carried out in the place of a new pavement by the building. 2 test pits were excavated, a total of 4.88 sq. m were investigated. After that archaeological survey was conducted of the pavement trench, which was 18 m long, 50–70 cm in width and 40–60 cm deep and in 9 pits for new stairs foundation. In test pit 1 a layer of dark brown earth was found, which was located from the surface to the depth of 1.1 m. 20 fragments of household pottery and the stems of kaolin pipes were found. In test pit 2 a structure of red brick stairs was found, it was consisting of 3 rows. Top row was detected in depth of 35–40 cm, the last-in 80–85 cm. Gaps between bricks were filled with lime mortar. In test pit 2 there was ground layer, which was divided into 2 levels-first one till 90 cm depth with 19th-20th century and few 18th century archaeological finds. Second level begins at 1 m till 1,4 m with 18th century pottery and few stove till fragments.
