Kūlių Vartų gatvė 7

LTKlaipėdoje, Kūlių Vartų g. 7 planuota vykdyti nugriauto pastato (prie Kūlių Vartų gatvės) pamatų bei rūsio demontavimo darbus, t. y. iškelti betoninius buvusio pastato pamatus, išardyti rūsio sienas bei grindis. 2016 m. žvalgomųjų tyrimų metu griaunamo pastato PV pusėje ištirti 4 šurfai, iš viso 16 m2 plotas. Panašu, jog tyrinėtos teritorijos pirminis apgyvendinimas (įsisavinimas) turėtų būti siejamas su XVIII a. viduriu-II puse. [...] [p. 303, 306].

ENIn 2016, 4 test pits (a total of 16 m2 ) were excavated in Klaipėda on the plot of Kūlių Vartų st. 7. In a 17th century, Klaipėda city was surrounded with defensive wall and at the crossing of Tiltų and Kūlių Vartų st., Akmenų gate was established. In 1784, in Kūlių Vartų street, beer factory was established and after World War II it was reconstructed. 18th–19th century cultural layers were uncovered in a depth of 0,6–1,1 meters. During the excavation, glass fragments, glazed (covered with brown, green, violet glaze) pottery, polychromic tile and glazed tile fragments (covered with black, green glaze), kaolin pipe fragments, dated back to the 2nd half of 18th century were found in test pits 1–3. In test pit 3, remains of the leather boots were found in a cultural layer of a 2nd half of the 18th century.
