Žvalgomieji tyrimai Zervynose

LT2016 m. ištirta 19 bendro 19 m2 ploto šurfų. Nustatyta, kad kultūrinio sluoksnio storis šioje vietoje yra nuo 20–30 cm iki 1,5 m. Aptikti horizontai priklauso dviem skirtingos chronologijos apgyvendinimo etapams. Pirmasis, priešistorinis, datuojamas vėlyvuoju akmens amžiumi (t. y. laikotarpiu nuo 5000 m. pr. Kr.) ir bronzos amžiumi (šiam laikotarpiui skirtinus titnago bei ankstyvos keramikos radinius identifikavo Dž. Brazaitis bei G. Gudaitienė), o antrasis, istorinis, datuojamas nuo XVIII–XIX a. ENIn 2016, 19 test pits (a total of 19 m2 ) were excavated during the evaluation in Zervynos. It was determined that the cultural layer at this site was from 20–30 cm to 1.5 mthick. The discovered horizons belong to two habitation stages of different chronologies. The first, a prehistoric layer, dates to the late Stone Age (from 5000 bc) and the bronze age; finds and structures from this period were discovered in the Ūla river valley in the S part of the investigated area. The second, from the historic period, dates from the 18th–19th centuries.
