Rusų gatvė 5

LT2017 m. birželį žvalgomieji tyrimai vykdyti Vilniaus mieste, sklype Rusų g. 5. Jame numatyta čia esančius pastatus pritaikyti mokyklos poreikiams. Bendras sklypo plotas 1450 m². Istoriniais duomenimis, dabartinė Rusų gatvė susiformavo dar XVI a. pradžioje. Tirta istorinė valda-posesija, esanti Rusų ir Latako gatvių kampe, istoriškai įėjo į miesto rajoną, dar nuo DLK Gedimino ir ankstesnių laikų apgyvendiną rusų tautybės (rusinų) amatininkų. Teritorija priklausė Šv. Pranašo Iljos cerkvės parapijai. 1415 m. Vilniuje apsigyvenus stačiatikių metropolitui, posesija pateko į pastarojo jurisdikciją ir priklausė jai iki 1840 m. 1840–1939 m. posesija priklausė Lietuvos stačiatikių dvasinei seminarijai. XVII–XX a. laikotarpiu posesijoje būta gyvenamųjų namų, veikė amatininkų dirbtuvės, smulkios prekybinės įmonės. 1921–1991 m. čia veikė šokolado, vėliau konditerijos fabrikas. Iš XVII a. teisminių duomenų žinoma, kad tirtame sklype yra stovėję mediniai pastatai, o mūrinė statyba suintensyvėjo tik XVIII a. pabaigoje-XIX a. pradžioje (VAA, f. 1019, ap. 1, b. 6898). 2017 m. žvalgomųjų tyrimų metu sklype iki archeologinių struktūrų ištirti 3 šurfai (du-3x2 m, vienas-2x2 m dydžio), iš viso bendras 16 m² plotas. ENDuring the 2017 evaluation on the plot at Rusų st. 5, Vilnius, three test pits (16 m2 ) were excavated, revealing a 2.85–3.1 m thick part of the cultural layer, the lower horizons of which, at a depth of 0.9–1.5 m from the current ground’s surface, date to the 16th–18th centuries. The remains of 16th–17th century structures were discovered in the lower part of the investigated cultural layer: a building foundation, wooden structures (Figs. 2, 4), and brick floors (Fig. 3). A 17th-century building foundation was found in test pit 3. The archaeologically valuable part of the cultural layer contains abundant 16th–18th century finds. 18th–19th century paving and wooden structures and 16th–19th century finds were recorded in the upper horizons of the mixed, fill type cultural layer horizons. In all, 564 finds were discovered and catalogued during the investigation.
