Žvalgomieji tyrimai Ukmergėje

LT2017 m. liepos – 2018 m. balandžio mėnesiais atlikti žvalgomieji tyrimai ir žvalgymai Ukmergėje, dujotiekių tiesimo iki sklypų ribų vietose (tik Darbininkų gatvėje-šlaito atraminės sienutės vietoje): Bugenių g. 21A, 23 ir 32 sklypų aplinkoje; Darbininkų g. 13 sklype; Gedimino g. 18 sklypo aplinkoje, šalia Gedimino g. 38 sklypo; šalia sklypo Lelijų g. 1; ties sklypu Pilies g. 18; šalia sklypų Siaurosios g. 7; Širvintų gatvėje ir Širvintų g. 12 sklypo aplinkoje bei Vėjų g. 9. Žvalgymų metu 4 vietose atlikta dujotiekio tiesimui kastos 90,5 m ilgio, 50–60 cm pločio ir 1,05–1,25 m gylio tranšėjos bei 1,5 m ilgio, 0,9–1,05 m pločio ir 1,28 m gylio technologinės duobės fiksacija (tranšėjos fiksacijos vietos 1–3, technologinės duobės-fiksacijos vieta 4). Aptikta keliolika radinių, datuojamų XIX–XX a., taip pat rasta neaiškaus datavimo smulkių keramikos šukių, kurios galėtų būti datuojamos ir XVII–XVIII a. Daugiausia radinių-12 keramikos fragmentų rasta fiksacijos vietoje 4 ir jos aplinkoje, Bugenių gatvės PR pakraštyje, į PR nuo įvažiavimo į Bugenių g. 21A ir 23A sklypus. [...] [p. 364].

ENIn 2017, field surveys and evaluations were conducted at several Ukmergė locations: Bugenių street, between 21A and 23 and in the vicinity of these plots, up to the plot at Bugenių st. 32; Darbininkų St. 13; Gedimino St. 18 and in the vicinity of this plot, beside the plot at Gedimino st. 38; at the intersection of Gedimino and Širvintų streets, up to the plot at Širvintų st. 12; beside the plot at Lelijų st. 1; in Pilies street beside the plot at Pilies st. 18; and at Siauroji st. 7 and Vėjų st. 9. Three 1 x 1 m test pits were excavated and 45.3 m2 surveyed on Bugenių street, revealing a cultural layer with 17th/18th–19th century finds. One test pit (2.25 m2 ) was excavated beside the house at Širvintų st. 18, 11 m2 were surveyed there and beside Širvintų st. 12, and a 19th–20th century cultural layer with isolated 16th/18th first half of the 20th century finds were discovered. 2.6 m2 were surveyed beside the house at Gedimino st. 38 and a cultural layer with 19th–20th century finds and isolated finds with no clear dating (possibly 17th–18th century) was recorded. One 2 m2 test pit was excavated in Pilies street, beside the plot at Pilies st. 18 and 4.6 m2 were surveyed, revealing a cultural layer with 17th–20th century finds. 17th–18th century finds predominated in the lower layer at a depth of 50–85 cm, but isolated 19th century finds were also encountered. Perhaps the most interesting find discovered in a test pit was a suspected 17th century faience game piece. A total of 171 finds (including eight from Darbininkų st. 13 and one from Lelijų st. 1) were collected during the investigation.
