Birutės gatvė 21

LT2017 m. atlikti detalieji tyrimai bei žvalgymai sklype Birutės g. 21, kuris patenka į Trakų senojo miesto vietos (UK 27125) teritoriją. Tyrimai vykdyti projektuojamo gyvenamojo namo bei inžinerinių tinklų vietose. Jų metu gyvenamojo namo perimetru bei elektros tinklų vietoje ištirtos 6 perkasos, kurių plotis siekė nuo 1 iki 2 m, ilgis-nuo 5,3 iki 14,7 m. Iš viso ištirtas 89,3 m2 dydžio plotas. Dujotiekio, vandentiekio ir nuotekų šalinimo trasų vietose ištirti du 2x1 m (4 m2) dydžio šurfai, o vėlesniame darbų etape kasant trasas 42,5–55 m2 dydžio plote atlikti žvalgymai. [...] [p. 362].

ENIn 2017, a survey and excavation were conducted on the plot at Birutės st. 21, Trakai. Six trenches (a total of 89.3 m2 ) were excavated along the perimeter of a residential home and 42.5–55 m2 were monitored at the utility line site. It was determined that a 25–50 cm thick, 16th–17th century archaeological layer with contemporaneous household pottery had survived in the N and NE parts of the plot. The survey and excavation only confirmed the data from earlier investigations, i.e. that a 0.6–1.2 m thick cultural layer, which had formed in the second half of the 20th century by filling and levelling a former swampy lowland, exists in the S and SE parts of the plot.
