Tyrimai Smalininkų miestelyje

LT2017 m. Smalininkų miestelyje (Jurbarko r.), Kranto, Nemuno ir Stoties gatvėse vykdyti detalieji tyrimai ir žvalgymai. Planuojamų kloti vandentiekio ir buitinių nuotekų trasų vietoje žvalgytas 19,5 m2 dydžio plotas, detaliaisiais tyrimais ištirtas 145 m2 dydžio plotas. 2017 m. V. Vingis atliko žvalgomuosius archeologinius tyrimus Smalininkų miestelyje, Daržų, Gėlių, Kalninės, Kranto, Nemuno, Parko, Perkėlos, Stoties, Tujų tako gatvėse ir ištyrė 44 šurfus. Šurfuose, tirtuose Nemuno gatvėje, fiksuotas XIX–XX a. datuojamas kultūrinis sluoksnis su pavieniais radiniais, išskyrus šurfus 31–32 (greta Kranto g. 2, 4 sklypų) bei 41–42 (šalia Nemuno g. 3, 14, 16 sklypų), kuriuose fiksuotas archeologinis sluoksnis su XVII–XVIII a. datuojamomis keramikos, stiklo šukėmis, koklio fragmentu. Remiantis šių tyrimų rezultatais, šurfų 31–32, 41–42 aplinkoje atlikti detalieji tyrimai. [...] [p. 356].

ENDuring a 2017 investigation in the town of Smalininkai (Jurbarkas district), 145 m2 were excavated and 17th–20th century cultural layers with contemporaneous finds recorded. Fragments of a 19th–20th century, shaped stone foundation were unearthed in trenches 2 and 3. Sett paving was unearthed in trenches excavated in the Nemuno Street carriageway after the removal of the asphalt. In trench 5, elements of a burnt 18th century building structure were unearthed at a depth of 90 cm, and deeper down 17th–18th century coins. In trenches 5–8, ten flint finds (seven flakes, an axe, a single-platform conical core, and the distal end of a flint flake), ascribable to the first half of the Mesolithic were collected on yellowish natural sand.
