Rokiškio senoji dvarvietė

LTRokiškio dvaro sodybos (Rokiškio miestas) teritorijos (UK 1010) V dalyje 2012–2017 m. (ATL 2012 metais, 2013, p. 291–295; ATL 2014 metais, 2015, p. 242–246; ATL 2015 metais, 2016, p. 226–227; ATL 2016 metais, 2017, p. 210–211) vyko archeologiniai tyrimai. Jų vieta yra tarp Tyzenhauzų alėjos Š pusėje, Rokiškio II tvenkinio-R pusėje, Šatrijos g. 1 sklypo-PR pusėje, Šatrijos g. 3 sklypo-P pusėje ir Šatrijos gatvės-V pusėje. Tyrinėtos vietos aplinkoje stovi pastatas (Tyzenhauzų g. 1), nuo seno vadinamas Krošinskių pilaite, o tai leidžia manyti, kad jo aplinkoje galėjo būti ir senoji Krošinskių dvarvietė. 2012 m. pradėjus tyrimus, RKM dar nebuvo perduoti 2009 m. Šatrijos gatvėje B. Dakanio aptikti XVI a. radiniai (radimo aplinkybės nėra žinomos). Rokiškio dvaro tyrimų iniciatoriai ir rėmėjai VO „Tyzenhauzų paveldas“ ir RKM. Rokiškio buvusio dvaro sodybos teritorijos V pusėje, lokalizuojamo XVI–XVIII a. senojo dvaro vietoje, 2017 m. buvo tęsiami archeologiniai tyrimai. Bendras tirtas plotas-61 m2 . Žvalgomųjų tyrimų metu ištirti 5 šurfai (18, 19, 20 (3,5x3 m), 21 (1,5x1,5 m) ir 22 (2x1 m)). Jų bendras plotas sudarė 19,25 m2 , o su užbaigtais šurfais-31,25 m2. [...] [p. 242-244].

ENIn 2017, the investigation begun in 2012 on the grounds of the Rokiškis old manor site continued. From 1499, the manor belonged Grand Duke Alexander of Lithuania and later to his wife, Elena. In 1517, Sigismund I the Old gave the manor to the ducal Krošinskis family. The investigation was conducted in a manor building with a cellar, which were reconstructed by the Krošinskis family. In 2017, 30 m2 were excavated and at a depth of 1.9 m, the cellar’s brick and stone floor as well as large numbers of 16th-17th century earthenware vessel and stove tile fragments were found under rubble. Eight test pits (a total of 31.25 m2 ) were excavated on the grounds of the old manor. The investigation allowed the former ditch, which enclosed the manor site on the W, i.e. on the city side, to be located, supplemented the 1634 and 1744 manor inventories, and supplied additional information about the old Rokiškis manor site.
