"Va - mano žiedai". Jadvygos Nalivaikienės kolekcijos konservavimas ir restauravimas

LTJadvyga Nalivaikienė – žymiausia XX a. antros pusės lietuvių liaudies savamokslė tapytoja. 1963 m. Vilniuje surengtos personalinės parodos atidarymo proga menininkė prabilo nepaprastai jautriais žodžiais: „Sena šaknis darže buvau, o jaunimas atbėgo, palaistė, ir aš ėmiau žaliuoti. Va – mano žiedai.“ Dailininkės primityvistės kūryba žavėjo tapytoją Augustiną Savicką, grafiką Petrą Repšį, poetus Sigitą Gedą, Marcelijų Martinaitį ir kitus menininkus. Didžiausias J. Nalivaikienės paveikslų rinkinys saugomas Lietuvos nacionalinio dailės muziejaus (LNDM) Liaudies meno skyriuje [p. 103].

ENJadvyga Nalivaikienė is one of the most famous self- taught Lithuanian folk painters from the second half of the 20th century. Born in 1897, she began painting after turning 60, with her most intense period of work being 1961–1969. During this unbelievably brief interval, she painted more than a hundred paintings in oil on ordinary tablecloth and soft cardboard nailed to a subframe made of thin, in places connected, strips of wood. Part of Nalivaikienė’s collection kept at the LNMA was conserved at the Pranas Gudynas Centre for Restoration, in total – 22 paintings. The works were already in a critical condition. Staff from the Scientific Research Department, easel painting and graphic art restorers conducted research, cleaned the paintings, restored and conserved them before they were reframed. The paintings are not described or dated, they have simply been painted from a deep inner calling, in a childlike manner, but are therefore full of unique, individual expression. These are true flowers of her talent, appealing for their simplicity and imagination, a love for nature and point to a buoyant spirit for living.
