Glūko senovės gyvenvietės VII žvalgomieji tyrimai 2016 m

LTGlūko senovės gyvenvietės VII (UK 22667) (Varėnos r., Varėnos sen.) teritorijoje, uždaru būdu klojamos elektros trasos technologinių prieduobių vietose atlikti žvalgomieji tyrimai, kurių metu ištirti 2 šurfai, iš viso 8 m2 plotas. Pirmieji duomenys apie ją gauti iš L. Kavaliausko, kuris surinko nemažą akmens amžiaus radinių kolekciją iš Varėnos rajono. Šioje senovės gyvenvietėje rasta vienagalių skaldytinių, gramdukas, perforatorius, skelčių dalių. 2016 m. atliekant tyrimus gyvenvietėje, šurfe 1,45 cm gylyje fiksuotas archeologiniu požiūriu vertingas kultūrinis sluoksnis. ENIn 2016, two test pits (a total of 8 m2 ) were excavated at Glūkas Settlement VII (Varėna District, Southeast Lithuania). A 20 cm thick cultural layer was found in test pit 1 at a depth of 45 cm. Some flint artefacts, flint flakes, and sherds of hand built pottery were found in a cultural layer of yellow sand. The remains of a hearth were found at a depth of 80 cm in test pit 1. Based on the results of the investigation, it can be assumed that an ancient settlement had existed between the River Varėnė and Lake Ešerinis during the Late Mesolithic–Late Neolithic and Middle Iron Age. Its further excavation would provide significant scientific information.
