Šv. Gertrūdos gatvė 51A

LT2018 m. rudenį Kaune, Gertrūdos g. 51A/Valančiaus gatvių sankirtoje esančiame skvere, suprojektuotos šiluminės trasos vietoje iki projektinio 1,5–2 m gylio buvo atlikti archeologiniai tyrimai. Ištirtos dvi perkasos, bendras 82 m2 dydžio plotas. Didžiojoje dalyje perkasų iki projektinio gylio fiksuoti permaišyti žemės sluoksniai, kurie suformuoti XX a. viduryje-XX a. II pusėje įrengiant buitines komunikacijas, jų kameras bei šulinius. Nesunaikintas 40–50 cm storio XVIII-XIX a. sluoksnis rastas 1,4–1,5 m gylyje tik perkasoje 2, mažuose netaisyklingos formos ploteliuose (bendras jų plotas apie 10 m2). Šiame sluoksnyje surasta to laikotarpio keramikos, korodavusių metalinio dirbinio likučių. [...] [p. 298].

ENIn the autumn of 2018, an investigation (two trenches totalling 82 m2) was conducted down to a planned depth of 1.5–2 m at the site of a planned heating line in the square at the intersection of Gertrūdos st. 51A and Valančiaus street in Kaunas. A mixed mid 20th century layer was recorded in the greater part of the trenches. Fragments of an undisturbed valuable layer were found at a depth of 1.5–1.8 m in Trench 2. Partially destroyed 16th–18th century masonry wall fragments were also discovered during the investigation.
