LT2019 m. kovo–birželio mėnesiais vyko detalieji tyrimai Vilniaus evangelikų reformatų sinodo pastato ir kitų objektų komplekso (UK 33214) teritorijose, Reformatų skvere 1 bei Pylimo g. 9A (buvusiame sklype Pylimo g. 7A, kuriam 2019 m. birželio 4 d. Vilniaus miesto savivaldybė suteikė naują adresą). Tyrimai vyko 2 etapais. I etape detalieji tyrimai atlikti Reformatų skvero tvarkybos darbų projektavimo stadijoje (su skvero tvarkybos projektu susiję tyrimai vyko ir 2018 m. (ATL 2018 metais, 2019, p. 263– 267)). Pagrindiniai šio etapo detaliųjų archeologinių tyrimų tikslai buvo archeologiniais metodais tiksliai lokalizuoti buvusių, šiuo metu žemės paviršiuje nebeišlikusių statinių, taip pat spėjamos senosios evangelikų reformatų bažnyčios liekanas, iki įžemio (dalinai) arba iki buvusių statinių tikslios vietos atskleidimui pakankamo gylio detaliai ištirti kultūrinį sluoksnį bei struktūras. Įvairiose Reformatų skvero centrinės dalies vietose, Vilniaus evangelikų reformatų sinodo pastato ir kitų čia buvusio statinių komplekso teritorijoje bei jos aplinkoje ištirta 11 įvairaus dydžio per kasų ir vienas 2x1,2 m dydžio šurfas, bendras 351,36 m2 plotas. Tyrimų metu fiksuotas iki 2,45 m storio kultūrinis sluoksnis, datuojamas XVI(?)–XX a., aptikta XVII–XX a. datuojamų statinių liekanų bei preliminariai XVI a.-XVII a. I puse datuojamų kapų. II etape detalieji tyrimai vykdyti Reformatų skvero teritorijos PR kampe esančio pastato (buvusio gėlių kiosko, statyto 1974 m.) Pylimo g. 9A aplinkoje. Čia vykdant pastato įrengimo darbus, buvo suprojektuoti nauji vandentiekio tinklai su pasijungimu Pylimo gatvėje bei pastato P dalies pamatų hidroizoliacija. II tyrimų etape ištirtos dvi perkasos bei atlikti žvalgymai Pylimo gatvės važiuojamoje dalyje vandentiekio vamzdžio prastūmimui kastos 2,1x1,7 m dydžio prieduobės vietoje. [...]. ENIn 2019, a two-stage excavation was conducted in Reformatų square. In stage I, an excavation was conducted in the design stage of renovating the square. The main aim of this stage was to use archaeological methods to precisely identify the location of former structures, which have left no traces on the ground’s surface as well as the remains of the supposed Continental Reformed church through an excavation down to sterile soil (in places) or the excavation of the cultural layers and structures to a sufficient depth to reveal the precise locations of former buildings. Eleven various-sized trenches and one 2x1.2 m test pit (a total of 351.36 m2) were excavated at various locations in the central part of Reformatų square and on the grounds of the Vilnius Evangelical Reformed Synod building complex and in its vicinity. The investigation recorded a cultural layer up to 2.45 m thick and dating to the 16th (?)–20th centuries and unearthed the remains of 17th–20th century structures and burials preliminarily dated to the 16th first half of the 17th century. In stage II, an excavation was conducted in the vicinity of the building at Pylimo st. 9A in the SE corner of Reformatų Square. There, in carrying out the task of renovating the building, the installation of a new water supply network with a connection on Pylimo street and the waterproofing of the foundation on the S side of the building were planned. In stage II, two trenches were excavated and the digging of a 2.1x1.7 m access pit for pushing the water pipe under the carriageway of Pylimo street was monitored, the investigated area totalling 38.07 m2. The investigation recorded a cultural layer up to 2.7 m thick and dating to the 16th (?)–20th centuries and revealed the remains of structures from the early 17th early 20th centuries.
