Rusų gatvė 5

LT2018 m. tyrimai pradėti numatyto rekonstruoti pastato viduje. Ištirti 6 šurfai, kurių bendras viršutinės dalies plotas-44 m2. Kasant šurfus nė viename jų neatkastas įžemis, tik šurfe 1 jis pasiektas rankiniu grąžtu 3,45 m gylyje (Habs 95,95 m) nuo esamo grindų paviršiaus lygio, kai jų ir kiemo paviršiaus Habs 99,40-99,90 m. Nustatyta, kad nors kultūrinis sluoksnis šurfų viršutinėse dalyse apardytas XX a., po viršutiniais suardyto grunto sluoksniais esama nepaliesto uždurpėjusio archeologinio sluoksnio. Tyrimų metu surasta XVII–XIX a. datuojamų archeologinių radinių, aptikta medinių konstrukcijų liekanų, XVII ar XVIII a. datuojamo akmenų grindinio fragmentas. Šurfuose atkasti pamatai mūriniai, tik šurfuose 1 ir 2 jie betoniniai, datuojami tarybiniu laikotarpiu. Pamatai juostinės arba arkinės konstrukcijos, įgilinti iki 1,1–1,9 m nuo grindų lygio. Mūriniai pamatai pagal jų mūre panaudotas klasicistinių proporcijų plytas datuojami XVIII a. pabaiga-XIX a. pradžia. Šurfe 4 aptiktas sugriuvusio minimo laikotarpio skliautu dengto rūsio liekanos. Didelėje patalpoje pastato Š dalyje, prie Latako gatvės, kurioje tirti šurfai 3, 4, 5, po betonine grindų danga aptiktas XX a. iš plytų mūrytas krosnies pagrindas bei to paties laikotarpio iš molio ir kalkių skiedinio rištų riedulių ir pusplyčių formuotas pagrindas ar galimai karščiui atsparios grindys. Tolesnis darbų etapas buvo pastato grindų ardymas ir grunto nukasimas iki maždaug 65 cm gylio. Nukasant nevertingus grunto sluoksnius buvo atidengtos mūrinės konstrukcijos-anksčiau minėtos krosnies liekanos, daugiau XVIII a. pabaiga-XIX a. pradžia datuoto rūsio liekanų, kurias įvertino architektūros ekspertai. ENIn 2018–2019, the investigation continued on the plot at Rusų st. 5. In 2018, design and construction-related preparatory work was conducted, in 2019, an archaeological investigation during the construction work. In 2018–2019, an excavation was conducted in 807 m2 on the plot at Rusų st. 5 and in its immediate vicinity, mostly at the construction site of new underground levels, where the excavation proceeded to a depth of up to 3.7 m from the ground’s surface. Sterile soil was reached at the W corner of the plot’s building at a depth of 3.45 m, and in the test pit, excavated in area 2 at the site of the building’s wing that is near Rusų street, at a depth of 5.9 m. The majority of the excavated area was not investigated down to sterile soil. The earliest excavated horizon of the cultural layer dated to the 16th century. The investigation yielded a large quantity 16th–19th-century architectural objects, mostly the remains of wooden buildings, other wooden structures, of which a second half of the 17th first half of the 18th century gutter with an interesting, construction-wise, branch, should be noted. Several paving levels as well as room floors laid with bricks, tiles, and stones were also discovered. A large collection of archaeological finds was collected, of which the most abundant and distinguishable for their quality were artefact and artefact fragments made of organic materials (leather, wood). Just the leather artefact fragments from the 17th–18th centuries numbered over 6000 items, and historical sources also attest that the plot was involved in manufacturing activities. One of the products created there was wooden knife scales. In summarising the investigation results it is possible to state that they yielded new data about the development of this part of Vilnius.
