Tiltų gatvė 18

LT2019 m. Klaipėdoje, Tiltų g. 18, atlikti žvalgomieji ir detalieji tyrimai. Istoriniai duomenys tyrimų vietoje rodo, kad XVII a. pabaigoje – XX a. I pusėje čia stovėjo bažnyčia (Landkirche). Archeologinių tyrimų metu buvo ištirtos 5 perkasos ir 2 šurfai, bendras 21,75 m2 dydžio plotas). Ištirtuose šurfuose ir perkasose aptikti XVII a. pabaigos – XX a. I pusėje stovėjusios bažnyčios (Landkirche) pamatai ir 1,4– 1,5 m storio XVI a. II pusės – XXI a. kultūriniai sluoksniai su radiniais. Šurfuose 1–2 ir perkasoje 3 apie 15–30 cm gylyje atidengti XVII a. pabaigoje – XX a. I pusėje stovėjusios bažnyčios (Landkirche) pamatai. Šurfe 1 fiksuota apardyta akmens ir plytų bažnyčios mūro konstrukcija (ŠV sienos kontraforso pamatas). [...] [p. 275-276].

ENIn 2019, an excavation (5 trenches and 2 test pits totalling 21.75 m2) was conducted at Tiltų St. 18, Klaipėda, and revealed the foundation of a church (Landkirche) that stood there in the late 17th – first half of the 20th centuries and a 1.4–1.5 m thick, second half of the 16th–21st-century cultural layer with finds. The church foundation was unearthed at a depth of roughly 15–30 cm in test pits 1–2 and trench 3, the foundation of a NW wall buttress in test pit 1, and the foundation of the W corner buttress in test pit 2. A 25 50 cm thick, 18th–19th-century cultural layer was discovered under fill layers in the trenches on Vežėjų and Bažnyčių Streets. A 15–30 cm thick layer, which consisted of mixed yellowish and bluish sandy loam mixed with blackish soil and rubble with finds and which had been formed during the construction of the church in the late 17th century, was discovered under surface layers up to 1 m thick beside the church’s foundation in trenches 3 and 4. A 15–60 cm thick, second half of the 16th–17th-century cultural layer with characteristic finds was unearthed under those layers in the trenches. Finds dating to the second half of the 16th–17th centuries were collected during the investigation.
