Puodžių gatvė 12

LT2019 m. atlikti archeologiniai tyrimai Kauno senamiestyje (UK 20171), sklype Puodžių g. 12A, naujo namo statybos vietoje. Iki įžemio lygio ištirtos 6 perkasos ir 2 šurfai, bendras 92,75 m2 dydžio plotas, žvalgyta apie 100 m2 dydžio teritorija. Sklypas yra senamiesčio PR dalyje, 26 kvartale, ribojamame Karaliaus Mindaugo prospekto ir Druskininkų–Puodžių– Smalininkų gatvių. Šiame nuo XV a. apgyvendintame kvartale būta daug smulkių sklypelių, kurių gyventojai vertėsi odos apdirbimu – kvartalą iš Š ribojanti Puodžių gatvė seniau vadinta Odminių gatve (ulica Garbarska). XVII a. pradžioje 26 kvartalo Š dalyje buvo gyvenamieji pastatai, o P – daržai. Nuo mūrinės miesto sienos, pastatytos XVII a. pradžioje, jį skyrė dar du kvartalai. Senieji aktai nurodo, kad ši miesto dalis ypač nukentėjo 1655–1661 m. karo su Maskva metu – juose minima daug tuščių sklypų prie „Garbarskos“ gatvės. XVIII a. pradžioje juos supirko iš Vilniaus atvykę basieji karmelitai.[...] [p. 218].

ENIn 2019, 6 trenches and 2 test pits totalling 92.75 m2 were excavated and roughly 100 m2 surveyed on the plot at Puodžių St. 12A, Kaunas but no undisturbed urban structures were discovered. A 1–1.2 m thick disturbed cultural layer with isolated 16th–18th-century finds existed in the majority of the plot. A hole, up to 2.5 m deep, which had appeared and been partially filled in the first half of the 20th century, was recorded in trenches 5 and 6. It had been completely filled in the second half of the 20th century during the laying of a heating main, the fill soil being possibly taken from a 16th–17th-century rubbish pit along with several hundred sherds of household pottery, stove tile fragments, and animal bones. A metal detector survey of the earthworks on the grounds yielded finds dating to the early 16th–20th centuries.
