Stalmokų senkapis

LT2019 m. Stalmokų senkapio teritorijoje (UK 3841) (Radviliškio r., Šiaulėnų sen.) vykdyti žvalgymai bei žvalgomieji tyrimai. Juos inicijavo KPD siekiant patikslinti objekto vertingąsias savybes bei teritorijos ribas. Saugoma teritorija užima apie 3660 m2 plotą. 1973 m. senkapis įrašytas į Lietuvos TSR kultūros paminklų sąrašo vietinės reikšmės archeologijos paminklų sąrašą nurodant, kad „yra kaimo laukuose“. MMT (R. Olišauskas, B. Dakanis) ir RŽPI archeologinių vietų kartografavimo 1977 m. ekspedicijos Radviliškio rajone metu nustatyta senkapių vieta prie Visodskio sodybos, kur kasant rūsį buvę rasta „žiedų, kaulų“. 1986 m. MMT ekspedicija (ATL 1986 ir1987 metais, 1988, p. 179–181) šiuos Stalmokų senkapius palaikė archeologijos paminklu, nustatė jų teritoriją bei pažymėjo laikinais riboženkliais. [...] [p. 110].

ENIn 2019, 4000 m2 was surveyed in Stalmokai village old cemetery (Radviliškis district, central Lithuania), 19th–20th-century finds were discovered, and 4 trenches totalling 50.9 m2 were excavated. In the W and N parts of the cemetery’s present-day protected area no burials or vestiges of them were discovered. A 1.1 m thick fill horizon containing isolated 16th–19th-century finds lay under the top layers in the N part of the area, which is the lowest point in the relief. 16th(?)–19th century burials were discovered at a depth of 80–120 cm at the sandy NE foot of a small hill in the E part of the area. In all, 5 burials were excavated and the contours of another 5 were seen in the walls of the excavated trench.
