Povandeniniai žvalgymai Asvejos, Lukos, Monio ežeruose ir Šventosios bei Žeimenos upėse

LTNuo 1998 m. ieškoma povandeninių archeologinių objektų Lietuvos vidaus vandenyse. Jau išžvalgyta daugiau nei 80 ežerų, upių atkarpų. 2020 m., siekiant moksliškai pažinti archeologinius objektus, naujų povandeninių archeologinių objektų ieškota ir pirminis inventorizavimas atliktas Asvejos (Vilniaus, Molėtų r.), Lukos (Trakų r.), Monio (Trakų r.) ežeruose, Šventosios (Utenos, Rokiškio r.) ir Žeimenos (Švenčionių r.) upėse. Žvalgymai vyko vidaus vandenų telkiniuose, tikrinant informaciją, gautą iš rekreacinių narų apie spėjamus objektus, taip pat atlikta detalesnė jau žinomų objektų inventorizacija, paimti mėginiai tyrimams. Asvejos ežere ties Alkos vietove povandeniniai žvalgymai atlikti 2017 m. (ALT 2017 metais, 2018, p. 685–687). 2020 m. Asvejos ežere ties Alka, remiantis naro S. Zakarevičiaus informacija apie ties Alkos vietove po vandeniu surastus archeologinius radinius, atlikti žvalgymai. Vizualiai žvalgyta apie 1200 m2 dydžio teritorija į R nuo Alkos iškyšulio, siauroje Asvejos ežero vietoje. Tyrinėtoje ežero atkarpoje 2–5 m gylyje fiksuoti vertikalūs mediniai poliai ir horizontalios medinės konstrukcijos. [...] [p. 656].

ENIn the interest of the scientific study of archaeological sites, a search for underwater sites took place in the following waterbodies of Eastern Lithuania in 2020: Lake Asveja (Vilnius and Molėtai districts); Lake Luka (Trakai district); and Lake Monis (Trakai district); along with the Šventoji (Utena and Rokiškis districts) and Žeimena (Švenčionys district) rivers. The location of the old Dubingiai bridge in Lake Asveja, near Alka, contained the site of a person’s drowning (associated finds date to the 13th–14th century). Individual finds from the bridge area date to the 17th–20th centuries. The wreck of a late-15thto mid-17th century wooden ship was discovered in Lake Luka, at a depth of 9–11 m. Lake Monis contained a few individual finds associated with the Daugirdiškiai estate, which was established on a peninsula in the 16th century. Elsewhere, several sherds of household pottery (18th–20th century) were found in the section of the River Šventoji at Užpaliai. A fishing weir (from the end of the 15th century–start of 17th century) was found and recorded in another section of River Šventoji, near Lake Liminas, along with a pair of stone axes. River Žeimena, near Šakališkės, contained an assortment of individual finds (18th–20th century). The section at Kaltanėnai town contained washed-up archaeological finds dating from the end of the 17th to the 20th century, possibly related to a church and a monastery established on the river bank in the 17th century.
