Partizanų bunkerių ir žeminių žvalgymai Jurbarko rajone

LT2020 m. rugpjūtį LLKĮS devintosios pilietinės jaunimo vasaros stovyklos „Laisvės kovų atmintis“ metu žvalgė Lietuvos partizanų bunkerių ir žeminių vietas Jurbarko rajone, Globių ir Varnaitinės miškuose. Aptikti radiniai perduoti TKM. Straipsnyje koordinatės nurodomos LKS94 sistemoje. Globių miške (Jurbarkų sen.) buvo tęsiami 2017 m. pradėti partizaninio karo vietų žvalgymai (ATL 2017 metais, 2018, p. 644–646), ieškota čia įvykusių kautynių pėdsakų. 1948 m. rugsėjo 15 d. šiame miške, anuomet vadintame Purviškių mišku, susitiko Kęstučio apygardos Butigeidžio (anksčiau Lydžio, Aukuro) rinktinės štabo nariai. Susitikimo tikslas buvo Jono Stoškaus vadovaujamo Eimučio būrio inspektavimas ir tolesnių kovos veiksmų suderinimas. Iš viso į stovyklavietę miške atvyko 26 partizanai, iš kurių 12 po pietų išvyko gavę užduotis (LYA, f. K–41, ap. 1, b. 1639, l. 191. [...] [p. 635].

ENIn 2020, m. LLKĮS surveyed 4 locations of partisan bunkers and dug-outs in the Jurbarkas district. Two bunkers and one dug-out were identified in Globiai forest, and a search for the location of the clash of 15 September 1948 was carried out in Purviškiai forest (the old name of the forest). The location of an unknown encounter was evidenced by Russian and German bullets and the base of a shell from a Russian flare gun found adjacent to partisan bunker II. While the search of the surroundings of bunker III proved fruitless, a combined German-army eating utensil and three door/window bindings were found next to the dug-out II. Both bunker III and dug-out II were abandoned with no casualties. The dug-out is ascribed to the early days of the partisan resistance, but the precise chronology and historical context of the bunker remains a mystery. The area around a partisan dug-out in Varnaitinė (Užšešuviai) forest was also surveyed. Russian and German bullets and a hand grenade detonator found in this vicinity confirm historical records of a firefight occurring on approach to the dug-out on 10 January 1945, which cost four partisans their lives. The medallion and glass jar fragments demonstrate the domestic side of the partisan resistance, whilst the brick fragments from a burner and factory-made nails provide clues about the construction and use of the dug-out in winter.
