Žvalgomieji tyrimai Vilniuje, požeminių konteinerių vietose

LT2020 m. kovo–gruodžio mėnesiais Vilniaus mieste, būsimų požeminių konteinerių vietose atlikti žvalgomieji tyrimai ir žvalgymai. Iš viso ištirti 35 šurfai, bendras tirtas plotas – 70,6 m2. Tyrimai vykdyti Vilniaus senamiesčio, Naujamiesčio, Antakalnio, Užupio teritorijose. Antakalnio g. 12, J. Jablonskio g. 5, Pylimo g. 9, Šv. Stepono g. 15, Šv. Stepono g. 31B, Vilniaus g. 39 ir Vingrių g. 21B aptikti archeologiškai vertingi kultūriniai sluoksniai ir radiniai. Antakalnio g. 12 aplinka XVIII a. priklausė Šv. Petro ir Povilo Laterano kanauninkų vienuolynui. XVIII a. II pusėje buvo pastatyta vasaros rezidencija su parku. XIX a. pradžioje čia veikė „Tivoli“ smuklė. Artimoje aplinkoje archeologiniai tyrimai vykdyti 2005 m. L. Girlevičius (Antakalnio g. 6) ištyrė 4 šurfus, iš viso 10 m2 plotą. Aptikta XVII a. radinių (LIIR, f. 1, b. 4466). 2012 m. Antakalnio g. 14 tyrimus vykdė P. Vutkinas. Jų metu atidengtas XX a. I pusės akmenų grindinio fragmentas (LIIR, f. 1, b. 5987). [...] [p. 519].

ENIn 2020, field evaluations (35 test pits totalling 70.6 m2) and surveys were conducted at the sites of future underground containers in the city of Vilnius. Archaeologically valuable cultural layers were discovered in the test pits excavated at Antakalnio St. 12, J. Jablonskio St. 5, Pylimo St. 9, Šv. Stepono St. 15, Šv. Stepono St. 31B, Vilniaus St. 39, and Vingrių St. 21B. 2.15 m thick, late 16th (?) – 17th-century cultural layers containing finds characteristic of that period were recorded from a depth of 50 cm at Antakalnio St. 12, a 25–35 cm thick, 17th–18th-century cultural layer containing contemporaneous finds from a depth of 1.55 m in the test pit at J. Jablonskio St. 5, a 60 cm thick, 17th-century layer of dark grey soil with tree branches from a depth of 50–60 cm in the test pit at Pylimo St. 9, a 1–1.2 m thick, 17th–18th-century cultural layer from a depth of 60 cm at Šv. Stepono St. 15, an 80 cm thick black cultural layer containing finds characteristic of the 17th–18th centuries from a depth of 45 cm at Šv. Stepono St. 31B, the original surface (?) being reached at a depth of 1.85–1.95, a roughly 60–70 cm thick, 17th-century cultural layer from a depth of 45 cm at Vilniaus St. 39, stone paving, preliminarily dated to the 17th century and with a channel running NE–SW in the centre of it, being unearthed at a depth of 1.1–1.15 m at the bottom of the test pit, and a roughly 60 cm thick, 17th–18th-century cultural layer containing finds characteristic of this period from a depth of 50 cm at Vingrių St. 21B, a paving fragment preliminarily dated to the 18th-century being unearthed at a depth of 50 cm in the W part of the test pit.
