Žvalgomieji tyrimai Vilniuje

LTVilniaus mieste įgyvendinant požeminių konteinerių aikštelių įrengimo projektą, Vilniaus senamiesčio ir Naujamiesčio teritorijose 2020 m. atlikti žvalgomieji tyrimai. A. Goštauto g. 4, Pamėnkalnio g. 21 / Aukų gatvėje, A. Smetonos g. 8 ir Upės g. 6 ištirti 4 šurfai, iš viso 15,4 m2 plotas. Tyrimų metu aptikti radiniai perduoti saugoti LNM. 2019 m. A. Goštauto g. 4 ištyrus vieną šurfą, archeologiškai vertingo sluoksnio neaptikta (ATL 2019 metais, 2020, p. 533). 2017 m. A. Goštauto, Vasario 16-osios, Šermukšnių ir A. Jakšto gatvių vidiniame kieme atidengtas XX a. II pusėje suformuotas archeologiškai nevertingas sluoksnis (LIIR, f. 1, b. 8696). 2017– 2018 m. į V nuo 2020 m. tirto šurfo, Vasario 16-osios g. 1 atlikti detalieji tyrimai – sklypo V dalyje atidengtos XVIII–XIX a. medinio pastato pamato liekanos, XIX a. pradžios gamybinės paskirties krosnies liekanos, buvusio vienuolyno arkinių pamatų liekanos. ENArchaeological investigations were conducted at the installation sites of underground containers. At a depth from 1.3–1.85 to 1.95– 2.4 m at A. Goštauto St. 4 lay a 40 cm thick, 17th-century cultural layer, which yielded 17th-century finds: sherds of household pottery and structural ceramics, a Sigismund III Vasa 1620 double denar, and animal bones, from a depth of 0.9–1.1 m at Pamėnkalnio St. 21/ on Aukų Street a 60 cm thick layer containing 17th–19th-century finds and from a depth of 1.55 a 55–95 cm thick cultural layer containing ceramics characteristic of that period together with a relief decorated belt buckle, a lead ball, an iron heel plate, and a Christine Rīga shilling (1632–1654). Sterile soil was reached at a depth of 2.1–2.5 m. From a depth of 1.15 m at A. Smetonos St. 8 lay second half of the 19th – first half of the 20th-century stone paving atop a fill layer containing 17th–19th-century finds and an 1827 3-groat coin and from a depth of 2.2–2.75 m a 17th-century cultural layer with potsherds characteristic of that period and animal bones. A 2.45 m thick fill layer with 19th–20th-century finds was discovered at Upės St. 6.
