Sodų gatvė 14

LT2020 m. Sodų g. 14 sklype, planuojamoje statybos darbų vietoje KVP atliko detaliuosius tyrimus, kurių metu buvo ištirtas 527 m2 dydžio plotas. Anksčiau (2006 m.) sklypo teritorijoje žvalgomuosius tyrimus atliko S. Sarcevičius (ATL 2006 metais, 2007, p. 381–384). Tyrimų metu fiksuotas iki 4,4 m storio kultūrinis sluoksnis, datuojamas XVII a. I puse – XX a. Aptikta XVII a. I puse datuojamo medinio užstatymo liekanų ir XVIII a. pabaigos – XX a. pradžios mūrinių pastatų liekanų. 2019 m. archeologinius tyrimus sklype vykdė V. Veževičienė (ATL 2019 metais, 2020, p. 370–372). Jų metu detaliai ištirtas maždaug 800 m2 dydžio plotas ir atidengta skirtingų statybos etapų XIX–XX a. datuojamo pastato, sudaryto iš 3 korpusų, pamatų ir rūsių liekanų. Nustatyta, kad kultūrinio sluoksnio storis sklype svyruoja iki 4,6 m gylio. Ankstyviausias kultūrinis sluoksnis datuotas XV a. viduriu – XVI a. viduriu. [...] [p. 486].

ENIn 2020, the excavation of roughly 527 m2 on the plot at Sodų St. 14 revealed a late 16th–20th-century cultural layer up to a depth of 6.5 m and thickening to the NW. It unearthed the remains of a late 17th–18th-century wooden structure and stone paving, and in the central part identified the remains of at least two construction stages from the first half of the 19th century and the late 19th – early 20th centuries (demolished in the second half of the 20th century) and in the S part unearthed paving from the 20th century and later paving from the first half of the 20th century.
