Šereikos gatvė 7

LT2020 m. atlikti detalieji tyrimai sklype Šereikos g. 7 Vilkyškių miestelio istorinėje dalyje (UK 17124) (Pagėgių sav., Vilkyškių sen.), Vilkyškių evangelikų liuteronų bažnyčios pastatų komplekso (UK 44033) teritorijoje, planuojamo pastato ŠV sienos ištirta 23,3 m ilgio, 1–1,5 m pločio perkasa. Iš viso iki projektinio gylio (40–70 cm) tyrinėtas 32,3 m2 dydžio plotas. Duomenų apie klebonijos pastatą nėra daug. Iki šių dienų išlikęs mūrinis klebonijos pastatas su rūsiu, statytas 1895 m. Tarybiniu laikotarpiu jame veikė ambulatorija. Žinoma, kad evangelikų liuteronų parapija Vilkyškiuose įkurta XVI a. viduryje. Panašiu laiku buvo pastatyta ir liuteronų bažnyčia. [...] [p. 477-478].

ENIn 2020, a 23.3 m long, 1.2–1.5 wide trench (32.3 m2) was excavated beside the NW wall of the Vilkyškiai parsonage (Šereikos St. 7, Vilkyškiai, Pagėgiai Municipality, West Lithuania), revealing 4 cultural layer horizons, the earliest dating to the 17th–18th centuries, the latest to the 20th century. The investigation yielded 259 finds, mostly sherds of 17th–18th-century household pottery and structural ceramics: pieces of cooking pots and fragments of green- glazed panel or cornice stove tiles decorated with plant designs. Fragments of two foundations were also discovered. After comparing the archaeological, architectural, and historical data, it was determined that the unearthed foundation fragments belonged to the Evangelical Lutheran parsonage and pastorate building that stood at this location. The foundations have been preliminarily dated to the 17th–18th centuries. Due to the comparatively small scope of the investigation, the building was not dated more precisely nor was its layout reconstructed.
