LT2020 m. rugsėjį vykdyti žvalgomieji tyrimai Minijos kaimo (Šilutės r., Kintų sen.) Krokų Lankos g. 13 sklype. Iki šiol Minijos etnoarchitektūriniame kaime archeologiniai tyrimai (UK 10322) atlikti tik dukart (ATL 2014 metais, 2015, p. 620; ATL 2018 metais, 2019, p. 644), jų metu aptikti kultūriniai sluoksniai, datuojami XVIII–XX a., o archeologiškai vertingų sluoksnių nerasta, nors istorinė medžiaga Minijos kaimo pradžią nukelia į 1540 m. Jau XVI a. II pusės šaltiniuose minimas kaimas, įsikūręs abiejose Minijos upės pusėse. Struktūriniu požiūriu tai planingai suformuotas nuolatinės struktūros abipusio plano upinis-gatvinis žvejų kaimas. Pagal XVIII–XIX a. kartografinę medžiagą Krokų Lankos g. 13 sklypas patenka į šio nuolatinio užstatymo zoną. [...] [p. 294-295].
ENIn 2020, a field evaluation was conducted on the plot at Krokų Lankos St. 13 in Minija Ethno-architectural Village (Šilutė District, West Lithuania). The village is already shown in written sources from the second half of the 16th century as having been established on both banks of the River Minija. From a structural perspective, it was a planned river-street fishing village with an orderly regular structure on both sides. During the 2020 investigation on the plot, 2 test pits (8 m2) were excavated to a depth of up to 1.2 m from the ground’s surface, revealing undisturbed late 17th–20th-century cultural layers with finds. An assortment of clay net weights, bowl-shaped and panel stove tiles, and engobe-coated grey and red clay tableware was collected. 3 coins were also discovered: a Prussian 1686 Frederick William I 6-groat, a Prussian William I 1863 4-pfennig, and an 1873 1-pfennig. In all, 86 finds were collected and inventoried. In 2020, for the first time in the history of Minija Ethno-architectural Village archaeologically valuable 17th–18th-century cultural layers were discovered and a large assortment of various purpose finds was collected.
