Bandužių (Žardės) neįtvirtintos gyvenvietės teritorija

LT2020 m. jūrininkų prospekto 27A ir 33 sklypuose, patenkančiuose į Bandužių (Žardės) neįtvirtintos gyvenvietės teritoriją (UK 31842) (Klaipėda), buvo vykdomi detalieji tyrimai, susiję su šios teritorijos užstatymu. Tyrimai atlikti sklypų vietose, kurios dėl įvairių priežasčių liko netirtos 2008, 2011, 2019 m., taip pat demontuojamos Žardupės gatvės atkarpoje, patenkančioje į jūrininkų prospekto 33 sklypą. 1990 m. MLIM (J. Genys) teritorijoje prie jūrininkų prospekto, Žardupės gatvės ir numelioruoto Kretainio upelio ištyrė 12 perkasų (perkasos 8–19). Dabartiniuose jūrininkų prospekto 27A, 33 sklypuose ir greta jų tirtos perkasos 10–15. Tirtoje perkasoje 14 (7 m2) aptikta geležies lydymo rudnelės šachtos (su šlakui nutekėti duobe?) liekanų bei šlako fragmentų (ATL 1990 ir 1991 metais, 1992, t. I, p. 47). 2006 m. sklypuose jūrininkų prospekte 25, 27 ištirtas 2,5 ha plotas ir lokalizuota nauja gyvenvietė, kurios chronologija I tūkst. pr. Kr. – I tūkst. po Kr. (ATL 2006 metais, 2007, p. 74–83). [...] [p. 128].

ENIn 2020, an excavation (5 areas totalling 3123 m2) was conducted in Bandužiai (Žardė) Unenclosed Settlement (Klaipėda) at various locations, which had remained uninvestigated for various reasons, between the areas investigated in 2008, 2011, 2018, and 2019 on the plots at jūrininkų Avenue 27A and 33. 39 objects (657–696) were discovered and excavated. 23 objects were concentrated in investigation area 1, a 92x6–7 m section of Žardupės Street, the old road to Žardė Village, which appeared around the 18th century. During the investigation, the surface that had existed prior to construction of the road together with fragments of a surviving, roughly 30 cm thick cultural layer with sparse finds dating to the late 1st millennium Bc – early 2nd millennium was reached at a depth of 70 cm from the current surface. Late 18th – early 19th-century potsherds were found between these two layers. The 2020 investigation only slightly contributed to the rich, scientifically valuable information about Bandužiai (Žardė) Unenclosed Settlement that was accumulated during the 2008–2019 investigations.
