Panemuninkų senovės gyvenvietė

LT2020 m. LLDJ dujotiekis buvo tiesiamas per Panemuninkų kaimą (Alytaus r., Alytaus sen.). Jame buvo atlikti detalieji tyrimai. 2014 m., dar vykstant dujotiekio projektavimo darbams, M. Bertašius žvalgė būsimos dujotiekio trasos ties Panemuninkų kaimu vietas, tačiau archeologiškai vertingų objektų neaptiko (ATL 2014 metais, 2015, p. 509–513). 2015 m. V. Kliaugaitė Panemuninkų kaimo laukuose žvalgomųjų tyrimų metu lokalizavo 3 zonas, t. y. spėjamas radimvietes, kuriose galbūt yra archeologiškai vertingas sluoksnis ar struktūrų, patenkančių į būsimo dujotiekio ruožą (ATL 2015 metais, 2016, p. 547). Taip pat 2015– 2016 m. R. Vengalis ir G. Piličiauskas dar kartą atliko būsimo dujotiekio trasos žvalgymus. Jų metu Panemuninkų spėjamos radimvietės teritorijoje vizualiai žvalgant žemės paviršių, vertingų archeologinių radinių neaptikta (ATL 2015 metais, 2016, p. 458–465). [...] [p. 212-122].

ENIn 2020, an excavation was conducted at the future GIPL pipeline section in Panemuninkai village (Alytus District, South Lithuania). 1485 m² were excavated, a total of 33 trenches divided into 3 investigation zones. Under the plough layer in zones 2 and 3 lay a 10–70 cm thick dark grey to black soil layer, which contained sherds of hand built pottery with brushed, grainy, rough, smooth, and burnished surfaces. Fragments of a suspected hearth or stove pad (100x85 cm and 5–15 cm thick) made of clay daub were discovered in the N part of trenches 19 and 21 in zone 3. These fragments were dated using 14C to 676–751 (cal. date). A stone fill, i.e. a footpath improvement in a stream-side wet spot or a stone ford that dates to the late 19th – first half of the 20th century, was discovered in the N part of zone 1. A field survey using a metal detector was also conducted in roughly 11,200 m² between the investigation zones and on the boundaries of the gas pipeline trench. A 5th–9th-century bronze ladder brooch was found roughly 100 m to the E of zone 2 during the survey. Trench 5 (28 m²), in which no archaeologically valuable layer was discovered, was excavated in the vicinity of the brooch’s find spot.
