Juknonių neįtvirtinta gyvenvietė

LT2020 m. rudenį vykdant LLdj statybos darbus ir jo trasoje nuimant paviršinį humusingą sluoksnį juknonių kaimo (Kaišiadorių r., Žiežmarių apylinkės sen.) žemėse, buvusio ežero ŠV kranto aukštesnėje terasoje, maždaug 200 m į PV nuo Kertaus upelio aptikta juknonių neįtvirtinta senovės gyvenvietė. Į dujotiekio trasą pateko jos Š pakraštys – 19x5 m dydžio plotas. joje atsidengęs pilkos spalvos kultūrinis sluoksnis ištirtas 2020 m. spalį. gyvenvietės kultūrinis sluoksnis yra dirbamame lauke, po 35–40 cm storio armeniu. jo paplitimo plotas neaiškus, sprendžiant pagal tyrinėtą jo dalį, jis užima apie 20 m skersmens plotą. ENAn unfortified settlement located within the boundaries of the Juknonys village (in the Kaišiadorys district in eastern Lithuania) was investigated during the GIPL project in 2020. The excavation of a 63.5 m2 area revealed two layers of occupation, up to 70 cm thick. The layer contained 510 finds, consisting of smooth hand-built and brushed pottery sherds and flint artefacts – mainly flakes. According to the finds and two 14c dates, the unfortified area of the Tuknonys settlement dates to 900–300 Bc, and can be ascribed to the little-known Late Bronze Age and the beginning of the early Iron Age period.
