Tyrimai Mitkiškių apylinkėse

LT2020 m. pavasarį atnaujinti rajoninio kelio Vievis–Kazokiškės–Paparčiai–Žasliai (4717) Mitkiškių kaimo apylinkėse (Elektrėnų sav., Kazokiškių sen.) kapitalinio remonto darbai, o kartu su jais ir archeologiniai tyrimai. Iš viso dviejose vietose kelio remonto darbai turėjo būti vykdomi VKKRD buferinės apsaugos zonos vizualinės (regimosios) apsaugos režimo pozonio sugriežtintos vizualinės apsaugos kraštovaizdžio tvarkymo teritorijoje, kur reikalingi archeologiniai tyrimai. 2019 m. pradėjus kelio rekonstravimo darbus, aptariamoje atkarpoje atlikti žvalgomieji tyrimai (P. Vutkin) (ATL 2019 metais, 2020, p. 519). Tyrinėjant abipus kelio važiuojamosios dalies, aptikta įvairialaikės buitinės ir kaimiškosios keramikos. Tyrinėta teritorija yra ties Kernave, tik kitapus Neries upės. [...] [p. 52].

ENDuring the 2020 investigation, an excavation (19 trenches totalling 962 m2) and field survey (roughly 1100 m2) were conducted at places where the Vievis – Kazokiškės – Paparčiai – Žasliai (4717) regional road is being renovated in the vicinity of Mitkiškės Village and falls within the territory of the KKRD buffer protection zone’s visual protection subzone that has stricter visual protection procedures for the landscape (Elektrėnai Municipality). A 5–30 cm thick cultural layer with isolated 17th–20th-century household pottery finds connected with the country house that previously existed nearby was excavated. Only a small part of it has survived because it was dug up in the 20th century in installing a roadside ditch. In a pit in trench 14 and in a control trench to the N of it, finds ascribable to the Neolithic were discovered.
