Linginės kaimavietė

LT2021 m. lapkričio–gruodžio mėnesiais vykdyti detalieji tyrimai Linginės kaimavietėje (Panevėžio r., Naujamiesčio sen., Lakštingalų k.). Kaimavietė lokalizuota 2015 m. R. Vengaliui vykdant vizualinius paviršiaus žvalgymus spėjamos Linginės kaimavietės vietoje (ATL 2015 metais, 2016, p. 465–471). 2019 m. kaimavietės teritorijoje, patenkančioje į geležinkelio Rail Baltica statybos darbų zoną, M. Mačiulis atliko žvalgomuosius tyrimus. jų metu vizualiai, metalo ieškikliais išžvalgytas 10700 m2 plotas, taip pat ištirti 24 šurfai (27 m2 plotas). Šių tyrimų metu aptikta daugiau kaip 500 XVI–XX a. datuojamų radinių (ATL 2019 metais, 2020, p. 190–193). 2021 m. vykdytų detaliųjų tyrimų metu ištirti du plotai: plotas 1 (325,5 m2) ir plotas 2 (306 m2), iš viso 16 perkasų (631,5 m2 plotas). Visose perkasose iki 30–40 cm gylio (vietomis iki 45 cm) fiksuotas šviesiai pilkos žemės sluoksnis (armuo) – XIX–XX a. I pusės kultūrinis sluoksnis su pavieniais šio laikotarpio radiniais. Aptikta buitinės keramikos, smulkių stiklo dirbinių šukių, surasta metalinių dirbinių – vinių, kelios „Mauser“ karabino šovinių tūtos (1915 ir 1917 m.), kelios XX a. I pusės sagos. Aptikti Vokietijos imperijos 1876 m. 2 pfenigai. [...] [p. 211].

ENThe 2021 excavation (2 areas containing 16 trenches totalling 631.5 m2) at the Linginė village site (Lakštingalos Village, Panevėžys district, N Lithuania) revealed to a depth of 30–40 cm (in places up to 45 cm) in all the trenches a light grey topsoil (plough) layer – a 19th – first half of the 20th-century layer with isolated finds, immediately below which lay brown clay – brown sandy clay loam sterile soil. In Area 1, 4 objects were discovered in the sterile soil: a ditch, storage pits, and a hearth, which contained 17th – first half of the 20th-century archaeological finds: household pottery, glass artefact shards, isolated metal artefacts: 2 crosses, a knife blade, forged nails, a buckle, and several 19th – first half of the 20th-century buttons. The soil sample from the hearth (object 3) contained grains of wheat that were 14c dated to 1664– 1950. In Area 2, 16 objects were discovered in the sterile soil: storage pits, a clearance cairn, ditches, pits of indeterminant purpose with 16th – first half of the 20th-century archaeological finds: household pottery and isolated glass and metal artefact fragments. The soil sample from a storage pit (object 6) contained grains of wheat that were 14c dated to 1664–1950. Considering the number of discovered objects and their nature, it is possible to interpret the investigated part of the village site as a utility area on the village’s edge. Based on the 14c dates and discovered finds, it is possible to make the assumption that this part of the village site was most actively used (formed) during the 18th – early 19th centuries, its use ending in the first half of the 20th century.
