ENThe article analyses the field of smart economy in the Lithuanian municipal system. Based on the authors’ works, that examined the concept of a smart social system and the smart economy as one of such systems, the designed model of the smart economy with dimensions was adapted to Lithuanian local self-governance. It was found that in the case of municipalities, the strongest expression of dimensions is ranked in the dimensions of general well-being, learning economy, and agile economy. The weakest expression of dimensions is found in the dimensions of entrepreneurship and intelligence. Such insights have been based on expert interviews.
