ENThe article is an attempt at a critical analysis of the play "Fainting" by the Lithuanian playwright Marius Ivashkevicius, staged online on the ZOOM platform. In the center of the play are stories of people about an extreme, unbearable experience for a person - the time of war. The heroes of the play describe their individual, unique, experienced tragedy. Each story is evidence of the injustice and suffering of an ordinary person. The author of the play sees his task in showing the inner state of people whose lives the war divided into "before" and "after", to record the contradictions of the human consciousness of the participants in the Afghan war and their mothers.
