Безработица в Литве и способы её уменьшения
ENAfter the world financial crisis in 2009 many countries encounter various economic problems. One of the main macroeconomic problems is unemployment. This is very serious problem in Lithuania. During last year a lot of people in Lithuania lost their workplaces, because many companies had reduced number of employees or bankrupted. That‘s why the unemployment problem is an object of political and economical discussions. There are two ways of unemployment regulation, passive and active. The active way of regulating the unemployment in Lithuania will be discussed in this article. One of the problems is the unemployment of young people, who have no practice in labor market, and have no idea how to start their career. The second problem is entrepreneurship. A lot of people want to start their own business, but can‘t because of high taxes or limited information about how to start and how to expand their business. There are some methods how to solve these problems. Lithuanian Prime Minister‘s initiative was organized a forum to discuss ways to reduce unemployment. Some ways are discussed in this article.
