Poetinių kultūros formų kristalizacija XIX a. Lietuvoje : disertacija

LTDisertacijos objektas yra XIX a. Lietuvos lietuviakalbė ir lenkakalbė literatūra, tyrinėjama kaip interpretacinis kultūros dokumentas ir praktika, atskleidžianti visuomenės vertybines orientacijas ir skirtingus tapatybės variantus. XIX a. įvairiakalbės literatūros istorija, kaip heterogeniškos Lietuvos kultūros dalis, disertacijoje rekonstruojama ir analizuojama iš poetinių kultūros formų kristalizacijos perspektyvos. Poetinės kultūros formos – organizaciniai kultūros elementai, poetinę tekstinę išraišką įgijusios kultūros simbolinės struktūros, organizuojančios asmens tapatybę bei orientuojančios socialinę elgseną. Šioje perspektyvoje įvairiakalbiai XIX a. Lietuvos literatūros tekstai analizuojami kaip bendros kultūros plėtotės veiksniai, kuriais visuomenė dalyvauja simbolinėse derybose dėl galimybės orientuoti visuomenės narių laikysenas ir vertybines nuostatas. XVIII a. pabaigoje pasikeitusios Lietuvos politinio gyvenimo aplinkybės, visuomenės modernėjimas ir modernių tautų formavimasis XIX a. papildomai sustiprino tokios interpretacinės praktikos poreikį; tad darbe analizuojamos pagrindinės tos praktikos linkmės ir rezultatai, senosios LDK kultūros paveldo transformacijos keliai ir naujos simbolinės konfigūracijos, užfiksuotos literatūriniame diskurse. Disertacijoje atsisakoma antrinės kalbinės literatūros tekstų hierarchijos. Atsiremiama į XX a. pradžioje M. Biržiškos atstovaujamą kitakalbės Lietuvių literatūros studijų tradiciją, kurioje XIX a. įvairiakalbė literatūra nagrinėjama kaip etnoligvistiniu požiūriu heterogeniškos visuomenės (politinės tautos) kūryba.

ENThe object of the dissertation is the literature of 19th century Lithuania, whether in Lithuanian or in Polish. It is studied as an interpretative cultural document and as a practice that reveals the values of society and different aspects of identity. The multilingual literary history of 19th century Lithuania, as a heterogeneous part of Lithuanian culture, is reconstructed and analysed in the dissertation from the perspective of crystallisation of poetic cultural forms. These poetic forms are the organisational elements of culture; they are symbolic cultural structures that have attained poetic expression, organising an individual’s identity and orienting social behaviour. From this perspective, the multilingual literary texts of 19th century Lithuania are analysed as general factors of cultural development, with which society participates in symbolic negotiations for the chance to orient the attitudes of community members and their value structures. When Lithuania’s political situation changed at the end of the 18th century (annexation by Tsarist Russia), the modernisation of society and the development of modern nation-states in the 19th century strengthened the need for such an interpretative practice. Hence, the dissertation analyses the principle directions of that practice and its results, the paths of transformation of the old GDL (Grand Duchy of Lithuania) heritage and the new symbolic configurations that were recorded in literary discourse. The dissertation avoids hierarchising literary texts by language. It follows the tradition for studying Lithuanian literature in other languages started by M. Biržiška at the beginning of the 20th century, whereby the multilingual literature of 19th century Lithuania is analysed as an ethnolinguistically heterogeneous part of the literary output of our society (political nation).
