ENOn top ofthe directly applicable ESCPR egulation, Lithuania also adopted a law implementing ESCP proceedings. This law does not alter the rules providedin the ESCP Regulation but specifies the particularities of national implementation of some rules which are quite briefly described in the ESCP Regulation. ESCP Regulation is rarely applied in Lithuania. General lack of information among lawyers and general public is noted. The majority of rules applic-able to usual civil proceedings also applies to the ESCP proceedings: e.g. the cases are heard in district courts, the stamp duty is to be calculated following the standard civil procedure rules, all documents are to be submitted in or translated into the nationl language (i.e. Lithuanian), the case can be initiated in traditional paper format or digitally via the Lithuanian e-justice platform LITEKO, general grounds and rules of appeats apply.
