Lietuvos Didžiosios Kunigaikštystės ir Maskvos valstybės santykių diplomatinė kultūra (XV a. pabaigoje - XVI a. pirmojoje pusėje) : disertacija

LTTyrime atskleidžiami Lietuvos Didžiosios Kunigaikštystės ir Maskvos valstybės santykių diplomatinės kultūros bruožai XV a. pab. – XVI a. I pus. Akcentuojamas vertybių, normų ir elgesio taisyklių, kuriomis vadovautasi abiejų šalių diplomatinėje praktikoje, identifikavimas. Nustatyta, jog reprezentacinės formos buvo pajungtos valdovo asmens atstovavimui, svarbiausios nuostatos išreikštos garbės – negarbės sampratoje, reflektavo diplomatinės kultūros vertybes ir normas kuriomis vadovautasi tarpusavio bendravime. Tai prilygo vadovo garbės saugojimui. Diplomatinės reprezentacijos nuostatos, susijusios su rangų sistema, hierarchinių santykių įtvirtintos visuose formalioje bendravimo etapuose, kurių reikšmingiausias – iškilmingas priėmimas pas valdovą. Jo metu atliekamos procedūros buvo savitarpio pagerbimo forma. Diplomatiniuose reikaluose ypatingą vieta užėmė pasikeitimai – perėjimai, kurie itin atsiskleidė pasiuntinių sutikimo svetimoje teritorijoje metu. Svarbi diplomatinio atstovavimo taisyklė, jog tarpusavio santykiai turi būti palaikomi tik tarp adekvataus statuso institucijų, tapo didele kliūtimi LDK ponų tarybos siekiams kontroliuoti valdovo užsienio politiką, pastarajam vis dažniau reziduojant Lenkijoje. Diplomatinis imuniteto principas, išreikštas paprotinėje teisėje ir raštiškose saugumo garantijose, siejosi su diplomatinės kultūros normomis. Tačiau LDK ir Maskvos tarpusavio santykiuose pasitaikydavo šių taisyklių sulaužymo atvejų. XV a. pab. – XVI a. I pus. LDK ir Maskvos diplomatiniai santykiai buvo permanentinis balansavimas tarp lygiavertiškumo ir viršenybės.

ENThe main objective of the research is to reveal characteristic features of the diplomatic culture of relations between the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Muscovy in the late 15th and early 16th centuries. The work focuses on the then existing virtues, norms and behaviour patterns in the diplomatic life of both states. It has been established that all the then existing ways of representation were concerned only with one person, i.e. the ruler, and the main attitudes were expressed through the notions of honour and dishonour. The main concern was to protect the honour of the ruler. Diplomatic representation patterns were influenced by the then existing system of ranks and were applied in all areas of formal communication. The then existing diplomatic relations paid a great deal of attention to the ways foreign envoys and couriers were welcomed. The diplomatic representation of those times was fully based on the principle that diplomatic relations were possible only between institutions and persons of the same rank and status, which made it difficult to monitor the foreign policy followed by the ruler since he spent most of his time in Poland. However, as far as the diplomatic relations between the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Muscovy were concerned, there were certain cases of incompliance with the above-mentioned traditions and norms. The diplomatic relations between the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Muscovy in the late 15th and early 16th centuries could be described as a constant balance between equality and superiority.
