Vilniaus vėlyvojo baroko meno rinka : disertacija

LTVėlyvojo baroko stilius Vilniuje klestėjo XVIII a. II-III ketvirčiuose, tačiau disertacijos tyrimas apima kiek platesnį laikotarpį – XVIII a. pr.-XVIII a. 8-ąjį dešimtmetį, nes vėlyvojo baroko apraiškos Vilniaus architektūroje aptinkamos jau XVIII a. I ketvirtyje. Tuomet išryškėjo požymiai ir meniniai sprendimai, tapę Vilniaus vėlyvojo baroko pagrindu. Siekiant įgyvendinti disertacijos tikslą – ištirti Vilniaus vėlyvojo baroko meno rinkos organizavimą ir veikimą – nagrinėjami kūrėjų ir užsakovų santykiai, jų gyvenamoji aplinka, menininkų dirbtuvių funkcionavimas ir edukacija, asmeniniai ir profesiniai jų ryšiai, konkurencija, pasiūla ir paklausa, užsakovų poreikiai. Disertacijoje išskiriami keli pagrindiniai Vilniaus dailininkų ir architektų užsakovai – Katalikų bažnyčia, miesto diduomenė; nemažą vaidmenį Vilniaus m. užsakymų rinkoje suvaidino cechai ir brolijos, taip pat ir miesto savivaldos organas – municipalitetas. Vilniaus užsakovų gausa ir įvairovė, jų finansinis pajėgumas įpirkti ar užsakyti konkretų meno objektą tiesiogiai veikė Vilniaus dailininkų ir architektų skaičiaus dinamiką ir pasiūlos tendencijas. Didelė darbo paklausa, kaip ir palankios integracijai aplinkybės, sudarė sąlygas augti menininkų bendruomenei ir net formuotis specifinei XVIII a. Vilniaus vėlyvojo baroko mokyklai. Darbą sudaro du skyriai, kuriuose nagrinėjama Vilniaus vėlyvojo baroko meno rinka ir pagrindinių šios meno rinkos veikėjų – menininkų ir kūrybos vartotojų – santykiai. Darbo prieduose išdėstoma apibendrinamoji, iliustracinė ir pagalbinė medžiaga.

ENThe late baroque thrived in Vilnius in the second to third quarters of the 18th century, however the research of the thesis covers, to a certain extent, a wider period of time – beginning of the 18th century – eighth decade of the 18th century, as manifestations of the late baroque in the architecture of Vilnius are found as early as the first quarter of the 18th century. The purpose of the thesis is to inquire into organisation and operation of the art market of the late baroque of Vilnius. The thesis distinguishes a few key customers of artists and architects of Vilnius, including the Catholic church and the noblemen of the city; the guilds and fraternity, as well as the municipality – the body of the local government of the city, also played a remarkable role in the market of orders of Vilnius city. The plenty and multiplicity of Vilnius customers, their financial capacity to acquire or order a certain object of art had a direct impact on the dynamics of the number of artists and architects in Vilnius and on the tendencies of supply. An immense demand for work as well as circumstances beneficial to integration enabled growth of the artists’ community and even formation of specific school of the late baroque of Vilnius of the 18th century. The thesis is comprised of two chapters which deal with the art market of the late baroque of Vilnius and relations of the main players of the art market – artists and art consumers. The annexes to the thesis contain presumptive, illustrative and supporting material.
